Depending on what your idea of centrally located is, I would recommend The Grove downtown or Ibiza Food & Wine Bar in midtown. A newer option would be B&B Butchers & Restaurant on Washington.

Please consider Kris Bistro, for 40 guest is perfect. Menu of $50 they can include wine! Culinary Inst LeNotre French restaurant! With a auditorium and audio equipment included also that can make your event a complete success!!!

Post Oak Grill is wonderful and Claudia is a dream to work with. I had a ladies luncheon there for 50 & the following year we worked with Jennifer at Smith and Wolensky in the upstairs room which was private and lots of light.and everyone loved both venues

I've never been to the Gambling Cowboy, but I agree with Fred that RJ's Sizzlin' Steer is great. Not to mention the prices are very reasonable.

Vail Ranch Steakhouse on Jefferson. The name says it all.:)@Dennis Waite. Don't judge everyone by that incident. Also, you never know if that other person has had a bad experience in the past with accepting a friend request from someone they didn't know.

Exactly Mary Copeland Dellinger! When you walk in and see all that meat aging in the coolers...and they have some great house wine too! Plus the piano bar...it's a great place.

so many to choose from. Mare Blue on Sandy Beach. Fish on Whale Hill or La Casa del Capitan also on Whale Hill. The dirt road to the top of Whale Hill is awful, but the views are spectacular.

Definitely Chef Mickeys for the food. Best food ever if you go there try the shrimp dates appetizer and the stuffed chicken New Mexico style. If you want a nice view The Fish has the best.

The Filippis Restaurant there is the best of all of them...haha ! Don't forget Extraordinary Desserts.....I think it's on or near 5 th for the yummiest cakes and after-dinner sweets.
