Doctor Hankins at one community health in Hood River I went through 3 peds before her. She is amazing

You need to interview them and check them out because what's right for one isn't for another. We saw a couple too. It's hard sometimes. We see Dr. Murphy and love her she isn't a pediatrician but she's great and listens and cares about people

Choosing a doctor for your child is truly a very personal choice. My son sees Dr. Fitzsimonds, and of the three in the Columbia crest office she understands him the best. We could not be happier with her, and she advocated for us when I felt like no one else did. My middle daughter sees Dr. Omar, and absolutely loves her. They connect in a good way and my daughter is comfortable with her. My oldest is with Dr. McCaffrey and absolutely adores her even though my other two beg not to see her when she's the only one available. For every doctor recommended on this thread you will find parents who like them and parents who don't. Medical care, medical philosophy, and parenting styles factor into this as well as every individual child's personal needs. My recommendation is to choose one and make a non-emergent appointment to meet them. If you don't like the vibe, try another. If your child is old enough to have a say, let them. That's how I ended up with three different children with three different pediatricians. And I'm ok with it.

Dr Omer! MCMC PEDIATRICS. used to be Columbia Hills Family Medicine. Both my girls see her and my diabetic son she's Dr Fitzsimon. We have had pretty great experience with both. I loved Dr Hankins tho when she was there!

We love Dr. Martin. We also saw Dr. Hankins when she was there for a little while. Loved her. She's at One Community. My sister really likes Dr. Omer.

Dr. Alex Pinchot, here in TD at Gorge Family Wellness. He's my primary and my daughter's, she's two. He is a naturopath...

Dr Kari Zimmerman, she does free consults by phone, email or in person. She's in Hood River across from Jackson Park. She's a Naturopath and is covered by insurance.

Kathy Omer, while not specifically natural-focused, is extremely well informed and respectful of parents wishes. I LOVE her for my girls.

Dr Alex Pinchot as mentioned above at Gorge Family Wellness Center, he is a naturopath. While Dr Omer sees some of my kids and is a good Dr, I definitely would not say based on my experience that she has a holistic approach. She is respectful of parents' wishes as mentioned above though. Dr Pinchot has helped me immensely when other doctors couldn't, and I can't recommend him highly enough!! I will not see another Dr in town unless he stops practicing.

Dr Abbott at legacy here in town is who my girls go to.

Dr. Ahzar is very impersonal. I changed to Abbot with my secolnd on and she is amazing!s

I take my kiddos to Heather Davidson at Scappoose OHSU. She is a PA specializing in pediatric care. She is fantastic! I had horrible experiences with Aubrey Bridges at OHSU.

I went to Ahzar and it was honestly a terrible experience. She kind of acted like a bully and didn't seem to care much. After 2 visits I switched immediately. I go to Lisa Jones now, she's a family doctor and I have my baby girl go to her too, who was just born in February, now my whole family goes to her! She's amazing and I highly highly recommend her:)

Dr Ian Penner at scappoose OHSU, best doctor I have ever had, he sees me my husband and our daughter...

Dr. Azhar is the pediatrician at Legacy Clinic in St. Helens. I think all of the other ones who work with children at Legacy are Nurse Practitioners, but I could be wrong about that,

Dr Yetter at OHSU in Scappoose. My son has seen him since he was a newborn. He is fantastic with him. I highly recommend him. My son looks forward to his check ups.

Dr Abbott will be on maternity leave around that time, I believe she's due in January.

I take my kid to Hood River to Dr. Martin and we LOVE him. But I hear nothing but good things about Dr. Omer here in town. Also, I hear the elusive Corinda Hankins is with One Community Health now.

Hankins@One Community Health in HR is hands down the BEST pediatrician ever. She's been our dr for the last 12 years!!

When I had my kids...25 years ago, we went to Hood River for dental and Dr. Now that I have a grandson, I would suggest Dr OMER or any Ped Dr in THE Dalles. Going to HR for everything gets very time consuming and emergencies are a bear!♡

The Pediatricians at MCMC Family Medicine are all wonderful. We personally see Dr. McCaffrey and absolutely love her. She is kind, patient & very attentive. Welcome to town!

Corinda Hankins at One Community Health in Hood River. She is AMAZING with special needs kids.

I have taken my son to Dr. Martin in Hood River and he has gone above and beyond several times, even staying after hours once to give me time to get there from The Dalles. On the other hand, we usually see Dr. Fitzsimon here in The Dalles, because she is so knowledgeable about accessing services, even suggesting services I wasn't aware were available.

My niece is very high needs no other child like her in the dalles and she sees Dr. McCaffery

Oh man, Dr. Omer!! She is so kind and listens so well. She reads my daughter a small book every time we see her. Can’t say enough good about her.

I have a special needs child we see Dr.Gay in Hood River. One of my kids has seen him since she was 3 and my other was delivered by him.

Asher sees doctor Martin in hood river. He is awesome. Before Asher was born, I talked about no vaccines, etc.. he is really open about everything. NW pediatrics is his practice.

Dr. Omer in The Dalles, Columbia Hills Family Medicine is amazing and very understanding of parent guidance.

Dr.omer is not anti vaccine. You will have to sign a waver to continue care with her if you choose not to vaccinate. Dr. Schwartz is probably your best bet.

Oh, yes, doctor Robert Schwartz nd is a great doctor as well, if ur insurance covers naturopath. He also does chiro care and acupuncture. I've used cascade acupuncture, but not on Asher.

One Community Health, definitely; Providence Family Medicine, pretty sure they do.

Trayton doesn't have a pediatrician but he has Meghan McAllister at Columbia hills...she's a pediatric nurse practitioner and really nice.
