Dermatologists in Thousand Oaks, CA

Dr. Kaufman did my cancer removal surgery on my neck from the Center for Dermatology Care. From what everyone tells me there is no scar so they aren't all bad.:D The cut was 3" too.

I go to Dr. Romero and I like her. The man in the picture is who did my surgery on my forehead. Great guy!!!

Dr. Bodnar. I have been a number of times. Only had to wait 20 minutes once. Every other time in and out in 15-20 minutes. The office staff has been very professional & easy to work with.

We like Dermatology Associates in Westlake - Lily sees Jasmine, one of the Physician Assistants, for her eczema and she's been great

It looks like Dr Romero has a Dr. That can do a specific skin cancer surgery called MOHS. Now she doesn't have to refer out. Westlake Derm Asso. Are fantastic!!! The docs I worked for at cedars for 15 yrs refer to them... Capri and Carlson. Sheesh..... Long enough??

After going to tons of different dermos for the past 30+ yrs in the SFV/Glendale/Ventura county, I have discovered, you first need to determine what you want to see one for. If you want a medical based one or a more aesthetic/cosmetic one. Some MDs excel and specialize in one or the other. Some do both, and do both quite well. If you have or suspect skin cancer, go see Dr Kaufman or Dr Paganatacos. They are trained in MOHS, the best kind of skin cancer removal surgery. I have heard Dr Pierre and Anna Guanche are more cosmetic based. I have met both Peterson and Guanche, but have not formally booked an appt. I prefer going to a medical based dermo myself, and for cosmetic stuff I go to skin care spas for facials/etc as they charge too much at dermos for that stuff. I just use groupons and conejo deals for facials, its totally cheaper. I am personally searching for a new dermo myself, because last time at Dr Paganatacos office she told me she couldn't answer my questions, despite me telling the receptioninst in advance i had several questions. So, I prefer MDs that take their time and don't leave until you are satisfied. That kind of interaction is what I have with my internal medicine MD and now he has made the bar higher for all my other specialists. I am thinking of going to one of the UCLA dermos in TO/WLV. I am going for the female dermo because I need to do skin checks and its totally embarrassing if its a male MD, especially a cute one.

Brie Zentil yes, I'm sure more dermos are probably learning it now. It was about 17-8 years ago was when I first heard of MOHs when I used to go Dr Kaufman --he was the only one in TO that I knew of who did it. I believe he even told me way back then that he was the only one who had the machine in his office. I personally don't do botox or fillers, too scared. Right now, I stick with facials, peels, IPLs and possibly more invasive laser work in the future. The facilities are really pushing the "no knife" facelifts and face contouring done with just lasers, which I am waiting to get more feedback on and research more before I would consider that.

Pierreskincare.com took Sofia for the red thing on Sofia's cheek. Been to Panagotacos, Berman, Capri/carlson Pierres my favorite . Great staff and voted #1 in Ventura Cty. Then Berman . Pierres offices are immaculate .

There is a plastic surgeon that does bottom too her name is Dr. Javan. Also 3 doors down from you, Dr Masud, he's right on your corner. I know people that go to him and have great results.

I just went to the female doctor at Dermatology Associates in Westlake (I can't remember her name) and really liked her.

Campbell and I see Dr. Romero. She is great. Caught my melanoma super early. Her staff is great and professional. I highly recommend her!

I love love love Dr. Lisa Wolfe in Westlake. I've seen her for a few years and Liv has been to her too (she is not pediatric-specific though). Her son Jack is on our soccer team and she has a 5 year old daughter (but I saw her before she became a "teammate!" )

Dr. Michael Bodnar. He is amazing. I want to him for years when I lived in TO and my whole family still goes to him.

My family all go to Dr. Bodnar too, have been for years. He just removed my mom's skin cancer & she's a cash patient.
