I had this procedure done. Real painful the first couple of days, but worth it. I love breathing! I went to see two doctors .Dr. Edgar Lueg in Ventura was very friendly but they didn't take my insurance. Then I went with Dr. Alavi who did my procedure. He had no bedside manners, wasn't comforting at all. I had my procedure done with him because he did all his surgeries at St. John's hospital and I like that hospital. That was my experience. Hope this helps!

Dr. Jeff Feinfield in thousand oaks. http://www.bellavistaent.com/our-office/
Anybody have an ENT they recommend (Texans need not reply)?
Claire K. replied:
Jenny -- We all use West Coast ENT at 301 S. Moorpark Rd. We all like Abhay Vaidya, particularly. Good with adults and kids. 805-379-9646. Also, Griffin just saw Dr. Lee and we liked him too. (We've seen Birns too!)

DR TSENG hands down!!!! or his son Jeffrey!!!
Barbi T. replied:
A lot of people are recommending Dr. Tseng but I would not. I had gone to him for years and kept getting antibiotics for issues it turns out I never had. My brother was also told he needed surgery when he didn't. I now see Dr. Voorman at West Coast ENT. Dr. Wareham in same office is great also.
Barbi T. replied:
I'd be curious if you do see Dr. Tseng if he would prescribe augmentin in the first 30 seconds of your visit.
Lisa C. replied:
Dr. Vadia (check spelling) he took out Nicks tonsils. Great guy!
Wendy M. replied:
Dr. Birns in Encino. Might be a good doc but was a mean, nasty man in our experience.
Wendy M. replied:
Sandee Wernow Saurman took my kids to see him when they were new born. He lacked any type of human compassion and was absolutely rude to me when I asked several questions (as a new mother of premies -or anyone, should) I had to wait for HOURS in the waiting room as well. We had great doctors (and many of them) that first year, but he was a real tool!
Francine K. replied:
Dr Martin Wareham in Thousand Oaks...i do like him.
Lisa C. replied:
Claire Dr. Vaidya took out Nicholas' tonsils several years ago. We thought he was fabulous also!
