Hi!
Can someone recommend an auto shop in the area good for an oil change and regular maintenance?
Thanks!

Master Mechanic Ossington and Dupont
Tan A. replied:
I just came back from Guan Auto Service for the oil change. http://www.guansautoservice.ca/ I have been going to Guan Auto Service at Harbord and Manning for past four years. Derek Guan, the proprietor took pride in workmanship and customer experience with honest diagnostic results. The rate is reasonable.

OK TIRE. 490 Dupont. Ask for Vince. Master Mechanic can be slippery in my history with them. I no longer trust how they bill. Next to the Esso station - north side. 100% honest. Wiill never suggest work not needed.
Adina K. replied:
Serge at Harbord Auto (Ossington/Harbord) is great - always honest, gets job done as promised and on time, and very fair prices
Nicole B. replied:
Angelo Auto Repair, 548 DuPont St, just east of Loblaw's, north side.
Tracy P. replied:
Starling Auto at Bathurst and Dundas... Mike the owner is great to work with is beyond fair with pricing. We had to replace our antenna and it was a few bucks cheaper than getting it done at Toyota.

Where can I get a good cheap efficient oil change in the hood?
Jason P. replied:
Mike's Garage Eastern and Morse. $25!
Trevor L. replied:
I don't know his pricing but Don Valley Auto Centre, just N of Dundas off of Carlaw is a great shop to take your vehicle. Very honest guy, does quality work for a fair price. He got me out of a jam a few weeks ago when my truck was dead (batteries) and didn't even charge me for it. In my experience while there are cheap and quick oil changes out there, having a good mechanic take a quick look at your vehicle every 5000 km can save you a lot more money down the road.
Lisa S. replied:
Don Valley Auto - for sure!!

Thruway on King Street Just past River St Cam is the best

Scott B. replied:
Wonderful garage at Warden and Danforth, SW corner. Ain't pretty looking but they're honest and inexpensive. Ask for Ali.
Steve B. replied:
I use my local guy. He's my neighbor. Lees Auto at Dundas & Jane. Very honest and fair. Message me if you want the #.

Tony at Woodbine Auto is our guy. I've also heard great things about the garage at Greenwood and Sammon. You can ALWAYS do better than Crappy Tire. They're good for Christmas lights and hockey sticks but that's about it.
Gretchen H. replied:
Nope. go see my guy@Main and Gerrard. Main Auto Repair, ask for Dawit. He is the absolute best I've been to in like, ever.
