Sandra R. replied:
So my daughter saw DR Downs today. when i called to make an appointment I told them i was looking for PT and that i heard that his office does work with a PT and was told by the receptionist that he does PT too. So we got there and there was good news and bad news...he was under assumption we were looking for chiro not PT but said he could help her and to atleast have her see what he can do for her. Bad news is he does not take Aetna Insurance so I told him i would have to go somewhere else. he told me he would give allie her treatment and he would not charge me if the insurance co did not accept his submission..i hope thats the case.. anyhow she liked the treatment but he agreed that in her situation PT would be more beneficial than his treatments although it wouldn't hurt for her to see him too if the insurance will pay for it...now back to looking for PT again....he referred me to someone in Canton...think id rather find local though
Joy S. replied:
Highly recommend Dr. Downs...if he can't help you he doesn't hesitate to refer you to someone else. He truly puts the patient first.
Looking for a good Physical therapist within a 15 mile radius of Torrington that does Hands on Manuel stuff....not one that just throws a heating pad on you and shows...
Scott C. replied:
Rich Boule and Jim Montefeltri are both great!! Both have helped me in the past a few times. My dad has also worked with Rich and is very happy as well. Not your average heat pad guys.
