Dr Kathy Taylor at Active Family in Truckee is great! I went to her while pregnant and still continue now when my back is in pain. She does do some light cracking but she is very gentile and uses a few different methods to get the job done. I'm sure she'd be conscious of the fact you were opposed to cracking. She's great! I highly recommend her! Dr Colpitts (Elevation Chiropractic) I hear is good too! He's new and I haven't had a chance to work with him yet so I'm not sure of his methods, but I constantly hear good things.

Love the direct to consumer online options (cheaper)! Also Dr Sura in KB and some mainstream doctors do this. Mainstream is often covered by insurance! I have done this once through a guy in Incline (before health care reform made us go to CA) and once by somebody in the 3 story brick Tahoe Forest building on Donner Pass Road. Too long ago to remember which clinic. GOOD LUCK!

I would call Dr offices directly. Often even if they're listed in the insurance list they may have opted out or a new one may have opted in they don't update their lists frequently. Lake Tahoe orthopedics with Barton down in Southlake pretty much takes almost everything including Medi-Cal

I think all the docs at Tahoe Forest hospital in Truckee are in Network. Anthem 800 number (or online) can verify any and/or send you a list.
