You can get cash from Bookmans instead of trade, but it's a pretty low amount (something like 25% of what they'd offer you in trade). Sorry I don't have many other suggestions, if any of your items are on the older side you could maybe try asking a few of the various antique malls around town (like maybe Copper Country or the big one on 22 nd).

Your best bet might be to just call around to the local Comic/Game/Nerdy/Geeky stores (local owned, not the chains); Mention what your problem is and maybe they can help you. Perhaps even purchase some of your items off you to put up for sale in their own store (keep in mind you wont' get msrp, since they have to make a profit; but then again, your not doing well selling it all in the first place).
