Only in town for a few days. Looking for authentic thrift shops. Outside of the touristy areas. Also is Tubac a good place to go for shopping?

"AUTHENTIC" thrift shops...are all over Tucson. Casa De Los Ninos...(Prince / Mountain)...Humane Society Thrift Store...(Speedway / about 3000 E. block)....(theres websites that list them all)...and of course theres about a half dozen Goodwills in town...a few St. Vincent DePaul stores...and 3 or 4 Savers in town..also. I have a soft spot for thrift stores and yard sales...so I've been to quite a few in town. Goodwill and Savers seem to be the most expensive.
There is a tiny shop right on Broadway at Alvernon, right next to Stewart Title. Broadway Shoe repair is the name, I think. We take shoes there all the time.

Just went to Midtown Shoe Repair, which is walking distance from Don's office.
