Fort Mill area schools are the better ones, but it's now a Charlotte suburb, so rental prices are incredibly inflated. Rock Hill school districts are good as well, and short commute to Charlotte if you avoid rush hour. I'm a local born and raised.

We moved here from TN also! Our goal was to find a house in the Clover School District. Clover/Lake Wylie is a GREAT place to raise kids & a FABULOUS school district!!! Taxes are also way cheaper!!!
