The best really depends on the age of the patient, their diagnosis and their needs. I've been a nurse for over 20 years in Tulsa and can tell you there are several very good doctors in both specialities. I don't have a certain pulmonologist I would send a loved one to, but Dr. Edgar is the hands down best overall neurologist I have worked with.

Will tell you what I did about 20 years ago to find the best neurosurgeon in Tulsa. I talked to three neurosurgeons at 3 different hospitals and ask them if they had to have surgery who would they use. All 3 said dr Greg Johnson.

My Wichita Pulmonologist is Steven Trombold316.689.9325,(Wesley) not a lot of bedside manner. My KUMED Center pulmonologist is Dr. Lesley Spikes. (Critical Care Medicine Pulmonary Unit913-588-1227) Trombold was the 1 st Dr. to finally DX my PAH. He was the 3 rd lung dr. I'd been to, and my cardiologist also missed it. My sister and I go to Kansas City because it's the closest hospital that have specialist in what we have pulmonary arterial hypertension.
