ALSO! 2 things: I'm looking for an English speaking vet near Mugeodong, as well as a bike shop. Anyone?

Cima B. replied:
Kate, I use the vet that Dee talked about. The name of the place is Munsu Animal Hospital. Like Dee said, she speaks English and is very gentle with the animals. Have been using her for over 10 years.

Very cool, JT - that's a great link! (And the sign is hilarious). Kate, the road is the third exit on the rotary, if you're starting on the main Mugeo road, and going in the same direction as traffic flow - First exit is up beside the fly-over, 2 nd heads to Taehwa Rotary, 3 rd is the one you want. Herb Coffee is on the street, along with a Nonghyup bank.
Fin M. replied:
Mr. Goh is the only English speaking mechanic in town, he's the only guy most sportbikers trust, and he's pretty much family. The downside is, he's in bangeojin
Deirdre M. replied:
Also, I second Mr. Goh. While it's a bit of a drive to Bangeojin, he is trustworthy, and isn't going to tell you there's a bunch of shit wrong with your bike that isn't really wrong.
Jason T. replied:
Ulsan Autobike has a long history of working with foreigners. Their English may not be as good as Mr. Goh's but they are a heck of a lot closer. They are just down from the Jung-gu Home Plus next to the Byeongyeong Intersection.
Hey guys, can someone perhaps recommend a decent bicycle shop for professional mountain bikes (Merida, Scott, GT etc) around the city?
Martin R. replied:
I like OMK. They advertise on ulsanonline.com on the front page. The owner, Joey, speaks English very well
Jason T. replied:
Taehwa Dong just in front of Jaeil high school. I bought my merida there for a really good price.
Banan S. replied:
Aye, OMK is good, Samwha is pretty good too. if you go to Ulsanonline.com, go to the where to find section and search bikes you'll get a link to a map of Ulsan bike shops.
I want to start cycling, but I need some advice on buying a bike. I'm tall, 6'4" What kind of bike should I be looking at and where should I be looking to buy one from?...
Luke C. replied:
Check out Craigslist Seoul, facebook groups 'Han river riders' and 'cycling in korea' and if you read korean www.bikesell.co.kr That said, at your size you'll be paying more for a bike as larger sizes are rare here. $800 isn't bad if it's a good brand. You'll be able to sell it on for a similar price
I am looking for OMK bike shop and the map on the ulsan website is a little vague. I tried putting Jaeil Middle School in the google maps (supposed to be across the...
