Hi - Where can I get a coffee pot with a timer/auto start on it?? I have looked at emart-home plus, and Hyundai dept store...Any suggestions?

i checked the Amazon.com and found a nice one - then checked the G-market and they do have it here as well... price more expensive of course but if you include shipping from USA it is probably about the same: http://gsearch.gmarket.co.kr/Listview/Search?keyword=Cuisinart%20DTC-975BKN

Hey Alexis, I bought one on gmarket and very happy with it. It does have an American plug, if that's a concern. http://item2.gmarket.co.kr/English/detailview/item.aspx?goodscode=299132287
Does anyone know where I can go to get a reliable estimate for what customs will charge if I order some products online? I known anything over $150 will get dinged, and...

Thanks for all the input everyone. A little bit of research and some basic (yet embarrassingly difficult) math has shown me that buying on Amazon.com and having the products shipped here (even from family members) would only save me about 10% of the value once shipping and customs charges are included. http://www.dutycalculator.com/new-import-duty-and-tax-calculation/ This seems to be a great tool for calculating customs charges and may be of use to others in the future.

This may see a strange request for 'help' but does anyone know where I can buy a sewing machine here in Dong-gu, Ulsan? My family are coming over for six weeks of the UK...

Well having spent the last THREE HOURS trying to pay on G-Market, I am of the opinion they don't want to do business with foreigners. VISA wont work within Korea and PayPal wont 'ship' the item because I am located in South Korea. I can see I will resort back to trusty Amazon.co.uk and get one sent over. UNBELIEVABLE.

Under #4: Payment Info select option Sending Money (Private Account) and select your bank. Nonghyup is probably the best option. Then checkout. There will be a popup confirming your desire to order and will provide an account number and amount. Go to NH with the account number and pay the amount. Should be about a 1,000 won fee. You don't need a Korean bank account, just Korean currency.
Does anyone know a place to get pepper spray, or have any advice about keeping your dog safe from strays and untied dogs? My neighborhood is getting overrun with both...
Jana H. replied:
Get a pepper spray (perhaps through amazon.com, gmarket) and a bicycle horn that you can pump the air to and it makes loud honk... Keep a stick with you, lots of dogs get scared by just the look of the adult person with a stick. I wouldn't go walking in other neighborhoods, i'd try to find the owners and complain to them about their dog's behaviour. Good luck!
So I know there was a recent post about a good personal trainer, but I'm looking for something even more specific. Can anyone recommend a trainer with good experience in...
