Years ago I got my daughters pierced at Thornton and sons. Not sure if they still do it.
Barbara H. replied:
If I may be so bold, DeBartollo & Co. Fine Jewelry on Main Street downtown Vacaville does ear piercing. Give them a call.
Kaylee S. replied:
I like Chief Piercing in Sacramento for a quality place to go. Might be a far drive or pricey for ear lobes, but they have wooonderful service, quality and cleanliness, and great aftercare/ instructions. If interested just call to see if they will take an infant!:) If it were me, I'd go here knowing that they will do quality work in a sterile environment. Thornton and Sons the ONLY place I would trust. They have proven to me and my husband that they are honest. My husband had his chains cleaned and somehow we left without one of the chains and didnt realize until hours later and in the meantime they tried numerous times to reach us to tell us thst the chain had accidentally been left in the cleaner

I've been going to Thornton and sons since idk forever. Ive spent a lot of money there and have referred a lot of business to them as I am in insurance and a lot of clients need appraisals to insure their jewelry. My dad always bought from there and I've always had amazing service until last week. I lost an earring back which is a special kind. Mind you about 1-2 years ago it happened. They replaced it for free. I mean after all it's just an earring back. This time they wanted to charge me $35. I said r u serious? I said but last time it was no problem. The man said well that was last time. I actually told them that was crazy. I did not buy the earring backing. I think it's a real shame that they would lose a VERY LONG time customer over an earring back. I will be going to Debartolo.

I need a good reasonable jewelry repair person to fix my wedding ring. Any ideas?
Kelli M. replied:
DeBartolos. Very good pricing and great work. I had my prongs re-tipped at Thornton & Sons and won't do that again. One of the prongs broke after about a year (at the line of the repair work) and they weren't helpful at all about getting it fixed. So I went to DeBartolos and never looked back.

Rich Jewelers. He is the best. Very reasonable.

I've dealt with both Rich's Jewelers and Thornton and Sons. Very happy with the service from both places.

Rich Jewelers for sure, I have been going to him for at least 15 years for small repairs, purchases, and design pieces. Very fair and great service!
