I suggest first using a wire brush attachment on an angle grinder to remove the rust and then painting it with a "DTM" paint (direct to metal). I'd be happy to provide and estimate for you. Just send a couple of pictures to me by email at seattlemasterworks@gmail.com or just give me a call.
