Dr Weeks delivered all three of my babies. I had to have a c sections with all three starting my first born being a really complicated one and he took extra care of me that day. And of course, I have no complaints about him with my following births. He and his staff are great and always glad to answer any questions.

I had a great experience at Merit Health, when I gave birth to my second son 6 months ago. (My first son was born 7 years ago in Massachusetts) Dr. Sijin, was my doctor, she just moved, I have heard good things about Dr. Weeks, at Merit though. I am switching to Dr. Weeks myself. The nurses in labor and delivery are amazing and I have worked with many L&D nurses from the top hospitals in Mass. Honestly, unless you are having problems and need a specialist, I see no reason to go all the way to Jackson for pr/post care or delivery.

You're very welcome. My second choice would have been Dr. Connell but I have read some negative feedback regarding some of his staff.. in this group as a matter of fact.

I use Dr. Williams and I absolutely love her and her nurse! She is so attentive and actually listens to concerns and questions and gets you on a plan to fix the issues. I used Dr. Austin during the 1 st part of my pregnancy and regret every bit of it. I should have switched from the moment I found out I was pregnant. I love the staff at Merit. My best friend just had a baby yesterday and she's had nothing but good things to say about her experience.

I was only here a yr when I got pregnant. I heard horror stories about Merit health. I understand that Jackson/Flowood is far but there are awesome drs. there. For us it's worth the drive (You only go once a month til you reach 30 weeks and then every two til 36 weeks and then every week til delivery.) I love my dr and River Oaks is such a good place to deliver. The Lactation Nurse was AMAZING. Spent an hr with us. Made all the difference for me as a first time mom. Never had any problems with them. Can't say that about Merit health. We go to Jackson now for everything. We tried a few drs here but had too many issues.

Dr.Sijin was my doctor with both my pregnancies, but like others said she just moved. Dr. Weeks actually delivered both of my kids and he was very nice. Came and checked on me a few times, was pretty helpful. The wait in the clinic can be long though, it's always very busy. The nurses in labor and delivery were so sweet and helpful though! The staff as a whole was great- the dieticians and food servers, the housekeeping crew, all were great. Had one cranky nurse, but even she wasn't horrible . You and your baby will be in great hands there! Can't say enough good things about the nurses.

He is a great Dr IMO. He was the dr on call when I was released from having my second c section and he made sure I was good on pain management. He was also on call post release from the hospital with my third c section. I was breast feeding and developed an infection and over the phone, told him what I needed and he called it in just like that. So I guess it's just weighing the pro and con of a good Dr vs not so good other things.

Dr. Williams is a really good doctor. My daughter was pregnant with her first baby and she had to have an emergencycontact section. Dr. Williams was fast about it. We like her very much.

Dr Connell was my Dr throughout my entire pregnancy. I kept telling him I didn't feel right, and he brushed it off and said I was paranoid due to the fact that I was only 20 when I had my son. I ended up with preeclampsia and almost had a stroke. He induced me and didn't even deliver my baby. Dr Austin, who I wish I would have had the whole time, delivered him. But it pissed me off because Connell induced me and didn't even deliver him. Didn't even come during recovery. He's a horrible doctor.
