WISC in Madison, WI just ran a special on the Dane Co Humane Society just taking 10 dogs who were flown in from Georgia for adoption. Caught the name Gail Viney who is with Dane Co Humane Society. Perhaps your Denise could contact Gail. Missed the name of the organization who flies the dogs at no charge. Good luck

There is a shelter in Conway, NH called the Conway Area Humane Society. They have worked with southern shelters before..give them a shout. Also, Harvest Hills Animal Shelter in Fryeburg, ME..right over the border..also works with other shelters. Both are Very reputable and caring.. try them both. BOTH are on GBP and have web pages.
