Not sure if you want to go to Mt. Juliet, but in case you don't mind, Blue Oasis Pet Hospital in the Providence area has the most kind vet and staff. When our dog was sick (and passed a few days later), the vet was in the floor with our dog loving on him. She cried with us during this time. We love her! The entire staff will treat your pet as if he or she was their own.

Take him to Value Vet for a second opinion..they are amazing.....

Nashville Vet Specialists are great...not sure on pricing. Our fur babies are worth it though

Hello. I am not a Dr, but, I want to share a personal experience that may help. I had a torn ACL and was told the same as you, for your dog. I researched and found an African Root that heals it. BOSWALIA SERRATA. Well, don't live in Afric a. What to do? Online ordering! When I entered it in, I see that it is in OSTEO BIFLEX WITH MSM. Of course, no one, in the medical field, believed that this could be true (surgery pushers).... I finally found a surgeon who would hear me and follow my lead. He prescribed Results Physiotherapy (amazingly, they combine eastern and western therapy)..... Healed and sometimes wear grown up heels. Lol I will always take one per day.... Forever. (there's more to the story, but, that's the gist).... For the dog, I would cut the dose, possibly, based on weight. Don't buy generic and Google your own therapy. In a few short months of loving on the hurt, you should see results. Furthermore, I am titling this: For Entertainment purposes only!!!!)

Dr Newman is the best option for ACL repair in the area. It maybe costly, but he does an excellent job. The above statements (opinions) about why dogs tear them are inaccurate. Another option is the UT Vet school in Knoxville. They do the a good surgical repair (tight rope procedure) like dr Newman, but it's done by vet students.

I went to a vet named Dr Roy Butler. He's in the old White House by the railroad tracks on Antioch pk and blue hole rd. He was great and took time with our dogs and he was very reasonably priced since he has a small clinic. I think it's called Antioch pk vet clinic

Veronica Dr. Merrow at Pet Med not only has experience withy chow chows, she also has treated my friends pit bills. They may not be the lowest cost but I am confident in her. Also, you can go in and apply for a Care Credit card. This is a credit card t hat is only accepted at certain places. Pet Med accepts care credit. You can have your baby's surgery and pay for it a little at a time. Hope this helps. I know what a pet means to a family. I just lost my beautiful girl on Thursday.

I think Van Zant is actually after hours. Call and see if number on machine. He did my sister dog emergency surgery and did it till after midnight. Orr no longer does after hours.

Dr. Waits (he's at junks office) that's who fixed my doggie when I ran over him!

Junk office does offer it and so does Van Zant. I.have used both in the last year for after hours. Like my sister said he did my dogs emergency surgery and he finished at mid night.

Typically Vanzant will send you to medvet. May want to save the trouble and go straight there.

Dr Junk and Dr Waits has an after hours for emergencies. I called once at 1 am and he called me back within 15 minutes. He saved my cat's life that night.
