Is this for removal proceedings type work or skilled immigrant visa type work? Is it for a paying client or would they need pro bono representation?

I was lazy and just paid an attorney for mine but looking at the paperwork at the end of the day, my job background check probably required more stuff than this. Just DIY.

You could throw money at a lawyer for piece of mind, but you don't need an attorney to apply for a green card for an immediate relative. Just fill out the paperwork and do an interview or two and you're done: [https://www.uscis.gov/greencard/immediate-relative-us-citizen](https://www.uscis.gov/greencard/immediate-relative-us-citizen)

You can get referrals through https://www.aila.org/ and referred lawyers are supposed to give you a free consultation. That can help you decide whether to DIY or to hire counsel. You don’t have to go with the referred lawyer of course, and you can get second and third opinions.

I recommend UpCounsel. You can summarize your situation and expectations and receive a few quotes from different lawyers with great credentials.

there is no reason to need a lawyer to fill out the application. You only need a lawyer if there are complications with the process. That is why they charge a flat fee because it is just having a lawyer spend a couple hours filling out your paperwork. If they reject the application then the lawyers start charging by the hour. You should tell them to file as soon as possible the likelihood of rejection goes up drastically if you submit while the person is out of status vs while in status. Once you get a receipt that the application was received your are considered in status until the application is processed but if you were out of status before you submitted you can be deported for that violation before they finish processing your application. This has happened already a few weeks ago where someone was detained by ICE while in the middle of their green card interview because they had been out of status before applying for their green card

okay no problem. I recommend my friend Inwoo who does exceptional photography and is also a graphic website designer as well. check out his website here: http://wuzimodostudios.com/ (404) 644-4025 inwooyun@gmail.com

Usually when you sell a house, you don't need a professional website built. Good quality photos are great, what's more important is to make sure the house is clean, fixed up a little to be presentable or staged. Houses will sell alot more if it looks a certain way on the inside, ie: neutrally warm walls, freshly painted doors, bathroom regrouted. It depends on your budget as well. I recommend Carl Haupt. He's very accommodating and economical. +1 (443) 591-1607
Actually, I recommend Elitok & Hartnett in Washington, DC

Lawyers don’t have to be based in your state to file an immigration case for you since it’s federal law. I might have phrased it wrong, but this is what my lawyer told me. You can literally get a lawyer based anywhere in the country for this

Is yours a difficult case? I filed for my student visa at 17 by myself and then filled out opt paperwork, and then aos for greencard thru marriage. Unless you have a particularly unique difficult situation (overstays etc) it shouldn't be too much of a mountain to overcome. I'm currently living in rogers so we are relative neighbors
