Hi! Your best bet is to google search "Washington DC magician", anyone decent should pop up quickly from that search. That will allow you to screen them a bit and choose someone who looks right for you. If you'd like to cast a wider net, try gigmaster.com and/or gigsalad.com Nothing wrong with posting here, but you're not super likely to find someone a particular city, and also (from what I've seen) a higher percentage of people posting here are enthusiasts than working magicians. PM me if you have any questions!

First off, I'll say that I'd love to do the party (seriously, if you cover airfare and hotel, we would have a blast) Second, when you do find someone to book, have the following information ready when you call them (or included in the first email): what type of event, what date, what time, what location, how many people will be there, and what you're looking for in entertainment as well as any other entertainers that will be there. All of that will help you get a quick response. In addition, understand that you get what you pay for.
