If you are looking for someone to care for your young ones, I am a very caring 36 year old who has 3 boys of my own and love to take care of infants-preteens. I live in Waxhaw and have my own transportation and am very reliable, dependable, trustworthy and very patient. I have been watching kids since I was young. I can provide references if needed. We started at Children's Lighthouse on Rea Rd. We left after 6 months and switched to The Learning Experience on Providence Rd. West. TLE is absolutely amazing. I can't even begin to explain the difference! I recommend them all the time.

We loved Cranfield Academy. It's off providence road and Audrey kell. Not in Waxhaw but if you work in Charlotte it's a great facility!!

The Y. Morrison & Siskey

The Wesley Chapel Y offers childcare 8-11 am or something like that, not all day. Fitness Connection on Ardrey Kell has childcare, but wasn't very impressed (5 years ago). Y childcare is the best but depending in where you live in, it can be a hike to get there.

The Monroe Aquatic And Fitness Center is wonderful. I love all the ladies there. It's about a 15-20 min drive from where I am in Waxhaw, but I can't beat the price. They offer childcare all day M-F and from 9-12 Saturday, I believe.

My son just turned 2 about a month ago and we go to Waxhaw child Development Center on providence. It's down the road from downtown waxhaw and the Cureton shopping center. It it hands down the BEST daycare!! I love his teacher and the directors are amazing. I highly recommend it!

Metrolina Christian Academy in Indian Trail or Chesterbrook Academy in Weddington. We had our 2 and 4 year olds both places

Best, Best place in Waxhaw (speaking from 4 years experience) Reed's Karate on Providence Rd. Not sure of your children's ages, they offer many programs and my two children enjoy spending time there. Sensei Reed and his staff are the best!!

Waxhaw United Methodist Church Weekly Children's Ministry! I pay $150/week for a 4 yr old full time. It's great! All meals and snacks, small school and loads of personal attention, yet enough structure to prepare her for kindergarten next year. And if you're worried about the religious aspect, I don't see an overload of that at all!
