My parrot vet has chickens and sees any kind of bird. She is mostly a " come to you " kind of vet. If you call her, ( or anyone for that matter ) please let her I know I gave her name. ~ http://www.northeastbirdclinic.com/
Chad D. replied:
Mark LeDoux at Overlook Farm might take her.

I like to keep Veterycin Utility Gel on hand, plus I have a specific cream for wounds on poultry I got at the Co-op (the Hardwick Farmers Co-op is awesome for products/advice, and the owner and employees are very knowledgeable). For more specific products they don't carry, I like valleyvet.com. Hope your girl heals - she's a cutie!!
Does anyone know of a (somewhat) local vet that can castrate a small pig?
Anita B. replied:
Maybe Annie Custer in Spencer?
Jennifer M. replied:
I tried Buck Hill, they no longer deal with pigs & Bliss Pond is right around the corner from me too! thank you

Pig Farm on Snow Road. The Source/!!!
Laurel L. replied:
Barry Nadon pig farm on Snow Road. He raises them & probably can help.
Sarah B. replied:
Alissa Raymond at VCA Wickaboag in West Brookfield may be able to depending on how big the pig is
Laurel L. replied:
Check with Buck Hill over in Spencer. They do large farm animals. I think there is one in the Hardwick area also. Bliss Pond in North Brookfield? Dr. Hodder he might do it.
Has anyone found any other affordable vet clinics besides second chance?

Hardwick Pond is great!
Laurel L. replied:
I go to Spencer Vet a little cheaper than Wickaboag. Look into pet health insurance. You could try Bliss Pond vet clinic in North Brookfield I'm not sure if he still is practicing Dr Hoder
