Anyone know an acupuncture clinic that is not to costly and effective. Have a wonderful person in Hampton but the ride is one hour each way. Thanks in advance. Arthritic...

Auntie Patricia - I've done it at the Center for Integrative Health and Healing in Bloomfield at the Connecticut Multispecialty Group. I had it done by Dr. Jonathan Goodman – my naturopath – but there may be another provider there as well. (860) 243-2224 If you call and talk to the receptionist Sue, tell her you are my aunt!

Acupuncture is typically not covered by insurance except for nausea of chemotherapy and osteoarthritis of the knee. My husband is a chiropractor certified in acupuncture. Our practice (in Avon in the Hartford hospital center) charges $54 per session. Or can purchase 12 treatments for reduced price. Www.wholehealhllc.com
Looking for recommendations for a good acupuncture/acupressure clinician in town. TIA!

Kara Burkhart!!! She's just over the line in Farmington across from UCONN. She also does "community" acupuncture sessions at West Hartford Yoga, which is a group setting but more than half the price off. http://saludintegrative.com/community-acupuncture/
