Who knows of a reliable Mechanic in West Hollywood? I'm a new move to Los Angeles and could definitely use the help as to where an honest, reliable mechanic is. I drive...

Jeff Haugland and Peter Tavelin at Euro Spec motoring on the corner of Pico and Hauser. (323) 931-2650 These guys are the best, I am friends with Jeff, although I have not seen him in a while. He has taken care of me more times than I can count. Go in there, be chill to them and they will do incredible work at very reasonable prices. They specialize in European cars but do all types, used to work on my old Ford, so they are more than capable.

The Chevron at the corner of Highland and Franklin recently had a new mechanic lease the facility. The old mechanics at that place were lousy, but this new guy is awesome. Plus, if you have a Chevron card, you can use it there. They did work for me that came in WELL under all the other quotes I got.

Reliable and crazy-honest: http://pinkysautomotive.com/ Seriously, one time they overcharged my girlfriend for work and had her come back in to get back the roughly $200

My neighbor is a 60 year old mechanic that works from his own private shop with his son. He's been a mechanic for over 40 years, is super cheap, and will give it to you straight. Also, he's a ridiculously friendly cute little italian dude, so you get that old world charm.
Does anyone know of a cheap car repair place? That I can call NOW? Thanks.

Avus Autosport in Glendale. Andrew is the owner and the place is absolutely fantastic because it is owned and operated by BMW enthusiasts. I have taken all of my BMW's there for years. Tell Andrew I sent you.
