Does anyone have any suggestions on a vet? I currently go to Companion Animal Hospital in Parsippany but I'm not happy with him. He's very expensive and doesn't work...
Karyn L. replied:

I take my birds to Dr. Cattiny in pompton lakes. He's great with birds, has five of his own. Good luck

Our Lovebird went to Dr Wolf at Companion when he was sick He is great, its the Asian lady Vet there that's not so nice.Don't remember her name. In any event we go to Englewood Cliffs Vet. Hospital. Dr. Attanasi is very nice, gentle and complete as well. but she is also expensive .

Hi everyone, thank you so much! I just called Dr. Giordano and made an appointment. I'm sick with a viral thing and need rest but when it comes to my babies, they come before me. I'll keep you updated.
Serena S. replied:
I'm so sorry;(Praying for you both.I use DR Kazmin in Monroe.

That was my vet, Dr. Kazim in Monroe!!!!! He's awesome Serena!

I love the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains! I use them for my guinea pig and my bird. They are very kind and always spend plenty of time answering any questions.
Lisa S. replied:
I love Dr. Giordano, but if you ever need a certified avian vet, Dr. McKinley at Amwell Bird Hospital is awesome. Dr. G actually recommended him to me when he was at a loss with our pionus. It's a long drive for me, but worth it.
Valerie S. replied:
Praying for her. We go to Dr. Boren at the Oraell Animal Hospital. They take credit cards. I have found them to be less expensive than other places. If Dr. Boren isn't there there are other vets who can hold the ship down until he can be contacted. They have never let us down!
Marisa R. replied:
Oh wow! He's awesome! The guy that I met lives in Goshen and has 5 birds that all go to him. I eventually want to go back to Warwick and I will go to Dr. Kasman again.
Jeanne G. replied:
Dr Marpet at Animal Clinic of Morris Plains. They're a 24 hr as well. I used Companion when I first moved the rescue to NJ. A couple things happened that I wasn't happy with and left. I don't regret that decision at all
Marisa R. replied:
Thank you Karen and Jeanne. I truly, truly appreciate. I'm actually sitting in my doctors office, hoping it's not the flu:(. But I'm more worried about Bingo and cried all the way here. So feeling very sick and praying for my Bingo girl. I don't like Dr. Wolf. I wasn't happy on her last visit. My vet for my 4 dogs and cat is awesome and works with me but unfortunately she doesn't treat exotics. I'll keep you updated and thank you so much. This is my Bingo girl:)
DR Cameron on Bloomfield ave in Montclair. His whole staff is great

Ditto West Orange Animal Hospital, especially Dr. Perez.
Michael R. replied:
We've been very happy with West Orange Animal Hospital on Northfield. We used them for routine care, dealing with health issues in our aging cat, as well as to the end when we had to make the tough decision. We primarily used Dr. Boen, but recently had Dr. Bruno whom I also liked.
Lori A. replied:
I second Dr. Arculli though Millburn Vet may be more expensive than others. Worth checking costs if you're in it for the long haul.

Dr. Cameron. We adopted a cat on Christmas eve. He saw the kitten that day and opened on Christmas morning to make sure Lou had a shot of a strong antibiotic sae day. It was amazing and no doubt saved Jill Harubin Luo
