I would wager Dr Skadron would be happy to help. Call during the day to make sure, though. http://www.skadronah.vetsuite.com/Templates/ModernElegance.aspx

If you go down to Animal Ark in Hastings they can provide a spay certificate that you can use at a handful of vets (Southview Animal Hospital is one that participates in the program). Brings the spay cost down to $125.

Here is a good article (an animal hospital in Ohio) that gives some info on laser declawing, which might be a good alternative to traditional declawing, and reasons why declawing is sometimes a better choice than the alternative. https://www.porterpetcares.com/laser-declaw.html
Hi neighbors! I am new to the area and I’m looking for a new veterinarian for my cat. Does anyone have a good recommendation? Thank you!!
Lindsay M. replied:
We use Parkview Cat Clinic and really like it - our cats are a bit more relaxed since there aren't big scary dogs there, and their prices are fair. It's in Lilydale over by the 35E entrance.

We love Skadron Animal Hospital! I love that I went there as a young child with my parents and Dr. Skadron's son became a vet and took over the business. He married a vet and now their children are hoping to become vets! Most kind and compassionate vets in my opinion. They might not always be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for! Amazing place.
Jill G. replied:
We love Southview Animal Hospital. They’re the best!
Mary P. replied:
Absolutely love Parkview Cat Clinic. We have been going there for 20 years. None of our cats enjoy being put in the kennel to head to the vet, but when we get to Parkview, there are no dogs barking or curious puppies trying to make friends with them. We have loved every vet we have seen there, and the staff are all cat owners and cat lovers.

We are very happy with Southview Animal Hospital. They have evening and weekend urgent care hours, too. I have a lot of friends who go to Inver Grove Animal Hospital and I've heard all good things about them.

I take my boys to Skadron. A friend recommended them when I moved here a few years ago, and she has brought her fur kids there for years. The emergency vet I use is on West 7 th in St. Paul: http://m.aercmn.com/locations-and-hours/st-paul/?/

Blackberry Veterinarian Center. Dr. Rahimi is awesome.
Kay F. replied:
Southview is fine for fairly healthy animals but if your pet has issues, they really try to sell lots of tests and procedures while not answering questions. I like St Paul Pet Hospital in the Dale-Selby area which is nearby when the bridge reopens. They have a cat only room and the vets were very good with both my 22-year-old cat and now my two that are 5. There is also a cat only clinic on hwy 13 in Lilydale.
Does anyone know of a vet that makes house calls? I have a furbaby that doesn't do good with car rides, or other animals so need someone to come to me. I see many that...

Heather M. replied:
Blackberry Vet IGH Dr. Rahimi I would highly recommend pet insurance right away. It doesn't cover anything pre existing! Pet insurance and care credit card! Are both a life saver for unexpected vet expenses!
Karen R. replied:
We LOVE Skadron Animal Hospital as well! They have really been there for us in emergency situations as well as routine care. They are not the cheapest around, but you will not find more compassionate people to take care of your new family member.

Southview Animal Hospital. We have always gone to Hastings Vet Clinic. One after hours phone call left me less then impressed. I decided to call Southview. Better hours. Great advice. Very caring. We ended having to put our sweet baby boy down due to advanced cancer, but they were amazing. We will now forever be going to Southview. Good luck with your decision.

We take our cats to Cliff Lake in Eagan, but the rescue we work with uses Southview Animal Hospital so I will join others who have already recommended it.

Love Century Animal Clinic!!! They are wonderful and the pricing is phenomenal

South Saint Paul Animal Hospital. Cheaper than Southview and you don't get the constant suggestive selling going on. My 6 month old dog doesn't need a complete metabolic panel or any other blood work for that matter.
I need a vet for my cat that won't cost me a lot. I'm on a very tight budget. I hear Southview is every costly.
