I've worked with all the vets in SLC for 12 years. All the Veterinarians at Holladay Vererinary are the best general practice vets for decent pricing. Best animal surgeon in the country is Dr. Paul Morgan at AVC (Advanced Veterinary Care).

My biggest suggestion, at least for bars, would be to try out some of these bars, once you start meeting cool people, ask them where they hang out. Most of the good bars are downtown, and close together. I haven't seen anything about Pho listed on here (Vietnamese rice noodles). I LOVE pho tay ho on about 1700 or 1800 south Main st. If you're downtown looking for a nice sandwich, Toasters is awesome. They have several locations. For dentists, I personally love The Dental Spa. If you have insurance it will cover it and you get treated like youre in a spa, which can definitely take away the nerve of being at the dentist. For family practice doctors, Family Foothill clinic is great! Dr. Lewis is who I'd recommend but he is often booked
