Does anyone have any good recommendations for a restaurant to eat at on Thanksgiving? We've tried to talk ourselves into Tucanos, but can't quite justify the $30/person...
Kelly P. replied:
Which hospital is Kai at? There's a place called Melty Way that I recommend... I'm not sure if they are open on Thanksgiving, but they have gourmet grilled cheese (even some festive options like turkey cranberry, or pumpkin with cream cheese). And they also have soup and icecream cookie sandwiches! http://www.meltyway.com/
I had the best nachos in a grill type restaurant out west on a recent trip. Where can I find really good nachos in the KC metro?
Justin S. replied:
Gran Falloon nachos are top notch.
Karen R. replied:
If you ever go to a Rock Bottom Brewery, theirs are TOP NOTCH. Locally, I've liked The Well and Tomfooleries, but I've got a vague recollection that maybe Tomfooleries' have changed.

Mary D. replied:
Summit Grill. Pot roast nachos are amazing.
Jeanine H. replied:
This picture is the nachos at ThePorcupine Grill in Salt Lake City, piled at least 8 inches high, full of melted cheese and chicken, topped with sour cream and guacamole. Not soggy! Best I have ever had. I ordered them because I saw so many orders being delivered to tables around me.
Rachel D. replied:
I like the nachos at Westport Ale House, the smoked chicken is great. Martin City Brewing Company also has some tasty nachos. I like a cheese sauce though and can't remember if either of these have sauce or shredded. But if you prefer shredded cheese you can always ask for it instead.
