Depends on your health insurance but I had a very bad experience with Carson Center. Go to a private therapist in another town. They are more experienced. Carson Center is mostly students who don't even want to stay there once they get credentials so that doesn't say much too.

Carson Center in Westfield (you can go in for an intake M-F and they typically take 2 to 3 weeks to make an appointment) there is also CSO in Springfield - Maple Street. You can call a warm line and simply talk to someone typically free and they can find other resources. BHN, CHD, and Servicenet all have services and even outreach and crisis teams.

Annie Hotchkiss is excellent and she was super helpful in setting up a payment plan with me and taking payments as I was able. She's right in the center and has a website if you just google her name.

MacMunn counseling in Westfield is right in corner of court st and 20. I'm sure a bus goes by there many times a day.

A bus goes right to Noble Hospital several times a day and Carson is a five minute walk from that stop.

Dr. Alan Kurtz is a great therapist and right on the bus route in West Springfield.

I love my therapist, Karen Paulk in Ludlow. I am pretty sure she has openings...worth the drive for me from work in Agawam.

Mt Tom mental health clinic will take her insurance. They are on Bobola drive near the mall. She may have accessibility for transportation through them or her insurance after clinical intake outcome.

Carson is good.Also, Forum House is a great drop in center that helps with connecting services.

South Bay Counseling as well as west central will do outreach as well
