I'm working with Sean from GC bulding Group to re-do my kitchen. He also does bathrooms. 954-247-4428. Forget handymen for those types of jobs. Hire a contractor. You get what you pay for, I've had too many bad experiences that I refuse to go that route again. The whole reason I have to re-do my kitchen is because a handyman I hired to fix something destroyed my cabinets and made it necessary to have to spend the money to now re-do the entire thing.

Dorene Guiffre LaPadula you are correct but when someone states they can do everything such remodeling of any type,plumbing work and electrical installations etc, it requires either a General Contractor's License who then hires plumber who of course will do the plumbing associated work, and an HVAC company perform any type of air handler and compressor unit. In the event that a handyman performs faulty work or is injured in your home then the homeowner's insurance becomes liable. Then the state gets involved and the handyman receives a fine as well as the homeowner for hiring unlicensed individuals. All this information can be found at the department of business and professional regulation, which tells consumers how to protect themselves when hiring someone to perform work in their home. Each trade requires a separate operating license to perform each type of work. A licensed electrician cannot do plumbing work unless they are licensed to do so.
