Replacing a garage door spring requires someone skilled in that. it's a very dangerous repair, if you aren't ....don't even attempt it. I had a friend almost lose 2 fingers attempting it! If you need help getting the door open (manually) so you can get out please ask for help. Otherwise, I'd call Boulder Garage Door, (303) 447-1501. A family run, very trustful business.

Arvada Garage Door fixed my ancient opener at a very reasonable price, I think it was $150 ish. Not sure if I would use them for a complete door replacement but their good with the mechanical part.

Just last week our garage door opener broke. We checked YELP and called Lakewood Garage Door -- they came out timely, gave us all our options and fixed it quickly. Was very reasonable and now it works great. I sure would use them again if I needed anything. A Mom and Pop business.

I use Johnson garage door, Nate came by our place earlier this week when I closed the door I heard "sproink" and then gears and sprockets fell out of the ceiling and the chain was dangling... lol!
