Children of America, the Wilmington location (little falls drive). It's on Lancaster Pike (Rt 48) near the intersection with Centerville rd. Our 2 kids go there. The teachers are great, the director is a little bit of a bitty but she runs a tight ship and is a stickler, so that helps with peace of mind. It's also a national brand so there is a curriculum and various brand standards. They are open 6:30 am - 6:30 pm which was pretty much the most availability we could find and runs a little cheaper than the other branded daycares. They also price match and take government assistance.

Bright Horizons at Rockland Road is lightyears better than anything else. It's pricey but just worlds better than any other center you will find anywhere. It used to be just for AstraZeneca employees but I believe it is now opened up to anyone Their number is (302) 654-9120

You are looking for at least a five star facility, preferably in home. I provided a link below. In addition, you will be able to study the aspects of the star rating. This website also has a checklist (at least they used to) to use when interviewing the providers. Ask for contacts for current parents for references (if they don't provide, big red flag), and the daycare file is a public record. I would highly recommend that you take the time to read the file. Remember Charlotte's grandma was one of the providers who helped develop the star rating in NC. http://ncchildcaresearch.dhhs.state.nc.us/Result_Search.asp
