We have an old house and went from steam radiator to hot water radiator and from oil to gas. Unified Mechanical (Wakefield) did our conversion, and they were cost effective, technically sound, and contentious. We now have a 97+% Btu conversion on our boiler. We did the MassSave "free" seven year loan. (Do you have a natural gas line to the house now? If not, get on the list....it can be a three month wait with the public utility. You won't need heat, but when you convert to gas you'll want to think about hot water heater too.)
