For a sit down meal. Pearl Harbour in Southampton. Oldest restaurant and best Chinese food for as long as I can remember. The wonderful does a good takeaway / delivery.

You need to travel to North Baddesley for The Water Margin especially on a Friday evening for 'all you can eat' menu. Book first, always very busy.

River Cottage were excellent with my friend's various allergies when we went the other week. I informed them when booking and when we arrived they had annotated a menu for her showing which dishes she could have, which ones they could adapt etc.. I was very impressed.

Depends what you are after but for slightly pushing the boat out, The Plough at Longparish is excellent with several options on the 'normal' menu being veggie but also a separate veggie menu if you ask. In Winch, Rick Stein also has a vegetarian menu if you ask (not huge though).
