Does anyone in Quakertown area know where I can get my dog a rabies shot? (Besides a Vet office)

Tractor Supply gives vaccines, but only on certain Saturdays. See if this link works for you.

I use City Pets on Plymouth Road, too. I tried Affordable which is closer to me but twice when I needed to take the pooch in because he was ill, they couldn't see him until very late the next day. City Pets ALWAYS squeezes me in.

Dasuquin helps, I buy the chewables from Amazon. Dogs HATE the taste of Tramadol and it's very difficult to administer in my experience
Alisa S. replied:
Thank you all for your suggestions! This helps greatly! We see Dr. Fellenz at Family Pet Clinic. He's a experienced and compassionate vet but he's not holistic. I live in Richfield does anyone know of a really good holistic doctor in this area? Within 20 miles is fine . I hate seeing us to be in pain because now we have her on nothing but joint supplements . I am going to order Cosequin from Amazon in the meantime until I can talk to our vet .

We have an older pug w pretty bad arthritis n both front legs. It got so bad last month he didn't want to walk n wouldn't put wt on one of his front legs. He had been on tramadol n Dasaquan but it stopped working. He put him on a weekly shot we do at home wkly for 6 wks then monthly. He also gets Rimadyl. It's working he's walking now. We were desperate and this shot rebuilds cartilage. My vet has all his seniors on it. It's called Adaquan Canine

We will/can agree to disagree. For the record...I have been against declawing cats since I worked with Dr Melinda Merck (now with the ASPCA...Michael Vick case and others) back in the day (25+ years ago). I have never made my logic/case against declawing a secret. I only hope that more vets/techs/assistants would get on board with this ever growing movement/law (in some states and cities) not to declaw and to educate owners instead. Dogs chew...we educate them on how to prevent...etc. declawing is the easy way out but comes with short term and long term complications/issues.
