A question for my Woodbridge friends: I am in need of switching primary care physicians and am wondering if anyone can recommend a good Internal Medicine Doctor. I am...
Louise F. replied:
Try Cardinal Internal Medicine, 703-897-4700www.cardinal.md, Dr. Nazanin Alemzadeh or Dr.Amir Alemzadeh
Julie M. replied:
Cardinal internal Medicine 703-897-4700 Sohail Mousavi, DO
Julie M. replied:
I go to Bull Run Family next to PW hospital no complaints
Jan D. replied:
However, I can recommend a good dentist...Dr. Eric Vasey in Lake Ridge has been really good. (And I had switched about 6 times with dentists, before I found him!!). Yes, I can be picky. But some of them are just downright ignorant and frankly, scary.
Julie M. replied:
Dentist Dr Alachnowicz love them
Angela H. replied:
I second the recommendation for Dr. Vasey. Awesome! Excellent hygienists, also.
Kristen C. replied:
I really like Dr. Vasey. He does not, however, use nitrous oxide or sedation. He's close, too - near Kohls.
Mary L. replied:
Dentist recommendation off subject ...but Dr Morch is the best dentist...16 years and counting...love him and his staff
Marlene B. replied:
A great dentist is Dr. Samuel Ham. His number is 703-691-2221. He is the absolute best! We've been going to him over ten years now.
Heide B. replied:
I like Dr. Kapadia, he is very good... He takes his time, always up to date and a nice man... Long story short, thanks to him my neighbors Lymphoma was diagnosed, treated asap... He is in Woodbridge...
Valerie O. replied:
I love Dr. Fitzgerald in Manassas. She diagnosed my gall bladder and was recommended by another doctor. Her number in Manassas is 703-334-5801
Julie M. replied:
I am THRILLED with Dominion Family Health in Woodbridge. It's a all female practice but they see women as well as men. VERY Attentive, VERY responsive. LOVE LOVE LOVE them. (Just to let you know, I used to go to Cardinal Internal Medicaine and left that practice-- I'd be glad to give my opinion on that one privately if you would lke)
My two cents: the ratio of citizens to doctors in this area sucks, especially in Fairfax. Read the reviews on say, www.ratemds.com, and don't be reluctant to travel as far as, say, Ashburn or Manassas if a doctor is really good. You can always deduct the mileage on your tax return, and use FSA funds for the gas. For example, I live in Centreville and go to [Coleman Primary Care](http://www.colemanprimarycare.com), which most people think is nuts (it's 17 miles each way), but hey, my blood pressure's under control, I've always been able to get an appointment the same day when I was sick with a treatable illness, and my refills get authorized quick and easy.
New to the area I live in Alexandria/Arlington area and looking for recommendations on a primary care physician and dentist. Gay or gay friendly would be great. I don't...

Can anyone recommend a primary care physician in stafford?
Cler B. replied:
Dr. Villareal all the way, if getting to the root of issues intetests you.
Julie T. replied:
Yea i take the girls to pediatric partners and love them! I need someone for me...but need an apt tomorrow so might not be able to try Dr V.
Gail B. replied:
Well I do go to Stafford Medical Center...went there for years that's where I met Dr.V., so they are good in an emergency type can't get an app.,situation...Dr.Engright is good.
Kristi P. replied:
The doctors at patient first have been good for us especially when we need to be seen ASAP. In fact, a young dr there took me seriously when I knew something was wrong after weeks of pelvic pain. Dr V missed it and said it was nothing. Patient first sent me for ultrasound and it was a 10 cm mass on my ovary. Dr V is hard to get into see but her PA's are good too. Just my 2 cents...good luck!
Gray R. replied:

We really like Dr. Yolanda Reid - she's a family doc and she looks amazingly like Doc McStuffins - Corinne loves her! She was fabulous in helping Dave get some health issues cleared up. Office is over by Dan's Wellness Pharm & Arby's
Susan R. replied:
We've also used the urgent care behind Arby's several times when we couldnt get in w reg doc - have always had good experiences. Dr. Reid is usually pretty easy to get in with though
