I've gone to a PT at Whitinsville Medical Center, referred by my PCP at Tri-River, for running-related knee tendinitis. She was pretty good - her name was Laurie but I wasn't referred specifically to her. Milford Regional also has a rehab/sports med practice in Franklin (Whitinsville is Milford Regional affiliated too). In Worcester Area, South County PT treats a lot of runners, as does Central Mass. Physical Therapy. I think most outpatient PTs in the area are attuned to sports medicine. Just don't expect miracle cure if it needs to go through "the tincture of time."
