Nathanya D. replied:
Go to your nearest GUM clinic, they will smear test you I believe. Otherwise Mr Rymer at Goring Hall - the alternative to a smear is a biopsy and from that they can tell if you have Cancer. You could ask your gp to refer you to him anyway.

We recommmend that you ask your GP for a referral to your nearest Hypermobility Clinichttp://www.hypermobility.org/clinics.php Pain is a main symptom of Hypermobility Syndrome. List of symptoms here: http://www.hypermobility.org/diagnosis.php
The A. replied:
Physio is a mainline treatment for HMS but this has to be provided by a Therapist who has a good understanding of the condition and they need to give you exercises that don't aggravate your condition. Pain Medication plays an important role to control your pain levels so that you can maintain movement and exercise.

There is a huge difference between the efficiency of private sector and nhs, for example - Specsavers full range of eye tests took 40 minutes, exactly the same tests at Worthing hospital 3 and a half hours ! I'm sure pay rates arnt that different so it must be attitude and work ethic.
