I stayed recently at Wyndham Garden Berlin Mitte, a very nice 3 stars hotel near Pankstrasse U-Bahn station ... very strategic position and I liked that area, kinda a turkish neighborhood with a lot of nice and extremely cheap restaurants and bakeries, where you can try food from all over the world for polish prices ... it costed 50 EUR a night a double bedroom .... just give a look to Booking.com searching for hotels in Berlin, order from the cheapest and filter the 3-4 stars hotels, there are always huge offers and sales ... or if you like bed and breakfasts check AirBNB
