Kathy Willson has lots of experience with green horses.. She can make any horse behave!
Has anyone in this group used HorseCare Veterinary Service out of Zebulon? Thoughts please!
Tasida K. replied:
They are my vet group. I use Dr Gomes, but I interact with Dr Lambert too because his house is near my farm which makes it easy to pick up meds. Dr Gomes is a hawk when it comes to lameness, and Dr Lambert has an interest in podiatry. I've been very happy with their diagnostics, pricing, and customer service. The horses like them too

Dr. Gomes has been my horse's vet for the last two years. She is one of the most ethical, professional, and money-conscious people I've met in the local horse industry. She has a skill in identifying lameness, and looks out for her clients and their horses. I recommend her practice 100%! From what I have heard, Dr. Lambert is also a great vet.

I use Dr. LAMBERT he is great. I had a horse that was not very good for her shots and he worked her thru it. Very dependable, very kind, goes above and beyond!!!

I've used Dr. Lynn Gomes for the past four years... I recommend 100% and trust her with my horses' lives and medical decisions. I also use Dr. Gomes for my chiropractic work. Never worked with Dr. Lambert but trust he's wonderful as well.

I love them, Dr. Gomes and Dr. Lambert are both very attentive. Dr. Gomes has done chricopratic work on my gelding and did a great job. I vouch for them 200%!

Shamelessly prejudiced. Dr. Daniel Lambert Dvm fantastic vet. Answers questions without making you feel stupid. He has a keen interest in Pediotry and is supportive of farriers which I am so thankful for. He has worked on my personal horses since his practice began treating colics...eye injuries...a major major sew up job to wit 80 plus stitches (no 2nary infection zero scar)...tooth floating...broken tooth removal...hock injection and has been supportive in rehab cases. As an equine vet and not multispecies he seems to have a passion for his craft and skill set. He will help with rabies Shots or the occasional help of basic shots barn dog or cat but does not believe in stepping on toes of small animal folks. Emergencies he has an emergency line so you get him and not a beeper. His partner Dr. Lynne is also very good!
I'm looking for a vet to examine the eye of a very sweet cat that I am rescuing. It seems as though someone put him/her out where I work. Is there anyone that does exams...

Smithfield Road Vet (in Knightdale) is very reasonable. Their prices are listed on their website so there's no surprises:) And they're very friendly.

I second Dr.Church at Smithfield Rd. I had a stray kitten that needed medical attention right away. He waved the exam/office visit and called it a Good Samaritan visit AND gave me a tub of formula for free! https://www.facebook.com/knightdalevet
