Would not recommend Dr Darch. Went to him from 1993-2004. Had 2 animals he did not give proper care to & they died on his watch. After my second animal passed, I started looking into it & talking to others... Finding others with similar experiences. Se veral local Vets have common knowledge that He has been brought to the board for using expired vaccines more than once. They tried to take his license many years ago. It's true, He's cheap. That was why I went to him. But when your animals get really sick or have anything major wrong....beware.

Warning!!! Beware of Dr. Creech!!!! I used to go to him. I had given him a 2 week notice about having to have a possible c section on one of my female Yorkies. He told me that yes he did do emergency surgeries if need be..... He said he would be available....The day came I called and told him she was in labor. That was earlier in the day like 4 pm....He had told me to call him if I thought she needed it and when the time arrived to call him. I did and he told me at 1:00 am that he could not and would not do it. He said it was too late to call in any help! He left my Lacy to die or to have to frantically call another emergency vet. Also when they docked one of my Yorkie babies tales instead of suturing the open end of it... They applied glue..... The puppy got an infection, was put on antibiotics and it died.... I will never go to him again EVER!!!! Don't tell someone that you are willing and will do the surgery when the time arrives and then when I call.....you tell me that no it's too late and that you will not do it...... It was a horrible experience and I will never forget that frigid night me frantically driving to find another vet to do the c section and to save my baby!!!
Jamie W. replied:
They have low cost monthly vet clinics that administer shots at Tractor Supply in Knightdale. I think the prices are almost half of what they are at a vets office. It is a professional group of vet techs and a veterinarian that comes to do the clinics. I take my dog to get his vaccinations there.

Vet recommendations, any thoughts, good or bad, about Knightdale Banfield?
Nicky T. replied:
I see a lot of people on here recommend Smithfield Vet. I notice they advertise the cost of declawing cats on their website and I think it's little disconcerting. By putting that out there they miss out on the opportunity to educate cat owners that this is not a first resort to correct a behavior issue. It makes me feel this practice is set in old school ways of veterinary medicine. There are many other more forward thinking practices out there.

Dr. Leon at Banfield saved my dogs life. The staff is wonderful and always greet you with a smile. I've taken my dogs there for years. I had to put one of them down in December and Dr Leon stayed the whole time and cried with us. She is amazing!!

Ho To Smithfield Road Animal Hospital. The vet there is awesome!! I took my fur baby to Banfield in night time. She did absolutely nothing for my fur baby & she was a bit rude. I left there & went to Smithfield Road Animal Hospital & we loved it!! The cost at Smithfield Road Animal Hospital was a lot cheaper than Banfield
Elizabeth D. replied:
Banfield is awful and very expensive. They actually messed up my cat's record by placing another animals test results in her file. Then wanted me to pay $400 for a scan. I looked at the record and started questioning and they finally admitted to the error. Dr Church at Smithfield Vet is amazing. Go there !! You can walk in and don't need an appointment and I have never had to wait long.
Sherri M. replied:
Dr. Church at Smithfield Road is awesome! And his staff if fabulous. You can't go wrong if you choose them. Great prices too.
Looking for large or extra large igloo dog house also reasonably priced vet. Tia

We use Dr. Church at Smithfield Road Vet in Knightdale. He is the most reasonably priced vet I've ever used. His prices are listed on his website. He genuinely cares about your pet and doesn't try to get you to do the most expensive treatments. We have four dogs and four cats and he's truly been a life saver. knightdalevet.com

Dr. Darch in Kitrell, definately worth the drive for the savings
Sara H. replied:
Sue, go to Kittrell Animal Hospital and see Dr. Darch. It is about 15-20 minutes north on Capital/US 1 N from the Kohl's shopping center in WF. He used to own North Wake Animal Hospital. He sold it/retired from there. He opened up in Kittrell about a year ago. The building sits on the corner of US1 and Raleigh Rd., so you can see it & it's not hard to find. He is a no nonsense vet & very experience. I think he's worth the drive. I live near the seminary & it takes me at least 10-15 minutes to get to most vets in WF.:)
Any inexpensive vets in the area for annual pet vaccines. ..took in small senior dog...hasn't been to vet in a long time...very limited budget

The next Tractor Supply vaccine clinics in Knightdale
Kara P. replied:
I know they do more than rabies - I only posted a picture of their flyer because it had the dates on it. I just happened to be in the store and after seeing it mentioned here. (Also, note that no vet is going to do a 3-year rabies shot without proof of the animal's prior rabies vaccination.) At the TSC clinics, they do all vaccines, including the PureVax vaccines for cats, microchipping, heart worm tests, fecal tests, heart worm preventative, etc. They advertise that there is no exam fee. I am pretty new to the area and haven't found a great small animal vet yet. I have been to Smithfield Road Vet. They were very nice and reasonably priced, but they don't carry the PureVax vaccines for cats. That is non-negotiable for me. They were nice enough to refer me elsewhere for my cats' vaccines, though, which I appreciated.
