I have this desire to make my own peameal bacon and this is one of the ingredients that I need that I have never seen before at the grocery store. Has anyone here made their own peameal bacon before?   Mr. Meats, http://www.mrmeatmarkets.ca/, 2451 Tecumseh Road West, you have to ask the butcher, its not on the shelf. He uses "readycure" brand in the 1 kilo bag. He charged me about $5 for a bag back in Jan.
