We currently bring our dog to Agawam Animal Hospital. They are okay...had an experience with the actual vet that I wasn't happy with but they are okay. Everyone tells me that Suffield Animal Hospital is great!
Michelle A. replied:
I currently go to Agawam Animal hospital. He has been great but looking for other options. Also Cyndi can you recommend someone that would specialize in special needs animals? We have a kitten who has CH
Erin M. replied:
I recommend the Westfield Animal Clinic. We used to go to the VCA on Montgomery Rd in Westfield and that was ridiculously expensive. Then we went to Pet House Calls in Westfield which was cheaper and convenient because they came to the house but Westfield Animal Clinic is cheaper than both and the vet staff is so personable, compassionate and don't try to get you to have unnecessary services or medications.
Pat C. replied:
http://www.enfieldanimalhospital.com/ We used for our cat and they are amazing.
I'm on the lookout for a new doggie vet! Does anyone have one in the Agawam area that they would recommend who they are REALLY happy with? Please

Moving next week to Agawam!! We have an elderly cat. Any suggestions for a local vet. And is there a 24 hr. emergency vet service in the area or do you have to go to...
Kelly W. replied:
The two closest 24 hr emergency vets are Boston Road, and Kennedy Road in Windsor CT. As for in-town vets, there is one on Springfield street next to the fire station: Feeding Hills Animal Hospital, and one on Mill Street, near the Mill Street/Suffield Street intersection: Agawam Animal Hospital. I personally use the VCA on rt 10 & 202 in Southwick because it is closer to where I live.
Kimberly H. replied:
Suffield veterinary is the best, and the emergency animal Hospital on Kennedy road in Windsor is amazing! My parents live in Agawam and they use both, they've had great success with them!
Anna Z. replied:
Wonderful suggestions here, yes VESH in deer field is awesome, U30 in Westfield outstanding Dr. Facecloth is amazing with kitties, airfield is also pretty awesome.
Chris M. replied:
Suffield Vet is a very good, as is Enfield Animal Hospital. For a twenty-four hour facility, we've had really great experiences with New England Veterinary Center in Windsor, CT. It's not that far, and they accept CareCredit.
Ron L. replied:
Dr. Faircloth at U-30 is an excellent choice for cats and kittens.
Eileen B. replied:

Terry T. replied:
My vet is in Westfield, but for emergency care.. I very highly recommend the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty hospital in South Deerfield! They are amazing!! They were wonderful!! It's only about 15 min further than Boston Rd. I have always gone to Boston Rd and hated the care there. The staff at VESH are outstanding! I was just there with my own cat about three weeks ago!
Melissa T. replied:
We are switching from Agawam Animal Hospital to Suffield Vet. Heard great things about them and they are close. Speaking with them last week and explaining how my dog is anxious and they said that you can stay in car if need be and they will come out and get you and bring you in back door for appt. And they have pharamones going to calm animals. After all that we have heard about them and talking with them they seem really good.
Kerry C. replied:
We love our vet, feeding hills Animal hospital on Mill Street!
Can anyone recommend a good vet that isn't overly priced?
Hayley S. replied:
Depending upon what size animal you have U30 is very reasonably priced and we love them there. We also take our bigger dog to Westfield Animal Clinic and they are very affordable as well.
Sarah M. replied:
We love Salmon Brook Vet in Granny CT.
Pamela H. replied:
I agree with East Spfld Animal Hospital on Page Blvd. They are great, inexpensive and respect your choices.

Kathy M. replied:
Dr. Vincunas, feeding Hills animal hospital. He's awesome! And so is his staff. I had occasion to go to a specialist, and I stopped going to the specialist because they were nowhere as good as the staff at feeding Hills animal hospital.
Nora C. replied:
The animal hopital by stop and shop in feeding hills is a good place. I have a veterinarian in Longmeadow who I've used most of most of my life. Dr. Jetlouck
Peg P. replied:
Second Chance Vet on Belmont Ave, Springfield. Also Westfield Animal Clinic. Stay away from Southwick Animal. VCA hospital and very expensive.

Southwick is outrageous as far as prices. Westfield Animal Hospital is wonderful. Or if you want to drive a little further Blanford Animal Hospital. They help take care of a lot of the animals found homeless.
Sandra M. replied:
Suffield Animal Hospital they can do everything and not far from Agawam fair prices very clean and efficient
Peter M. replied:
Westfield VGA is the best we have found overall in the area.
I use Westfield Animal Clinic. She's young, reasonable prices and performed 3 operations on my dogs, all with amazing skill.
Susan M. replied:
U30 on the way to Southwick...just over the bridge...Dr. Faircloth formerly from Montgomery Road Animal Hospital. He is the best!!!!! Reasonable prices also.
Angela C. replied:
Pet House Calls on Rt 20 in Westfield. They were so kind when Ripley died that we decided to bring Cooper there.
Angela C. replied:
The best vet I have had was Michael Katz at Hampshire Veterinary Hospital in Amherst. The only reason I changed was because it was such a far drive. It would take about 45 minutes to get there but he is the best.
Please like Yellow Brick Management, my good friend Kevin Shippee's company who saved a disabled vet from homelessness who him and his wife were living in a Motel 6 for...
We just got a new dog, used to go to Gary at Groomingdales with our previous dog but he moved to France! $5 nail trim and $5 glands and in n out in under 10 mins....
