Can someone suggest an Internist in the Alabaster or Pelham area? I don't want to drive as far as B'ham when sick and don't want to just pick one out online. I do want...
Vicki P. replied:
Lee Internal Medicine in Pelham. He has been my doctor for 8 years. I like that he listens to his patients, very kind and caring.
Sharon P. replied:
Yes, I work for Dr Lee (billing) he is a sweet caring Dr.
Janet J. replied:
Dr. Remillard is a Family Med doc. The Internal Doctors are Dr. Howard in Montevallo (you will wait forever) but he is a good doc. Ginger Alred (again, you will wait forever). Dr's Farley, Leong and Smith are all in PELHAM across from Hooter's up on the hill. I haven't heard anything about them.
Raquel E. replied:
Dr.Patel, she's at the baptist medical complex across from the CVS on HWY 52 in Pelham . Patel, Bela, MD 30 Racquet Club Pkwy, Pelham, AL 35124 (205) 620-1085
Robert S. replied:
ditto x3....Dr. Lee good man, good doc.
Marie K. replied:
We use Dr. Lee and he is a caring doctor. Sometimes the wait to be seen is long but he gives each patient the time they need.
Lora C. replied:
Dr Lee is great and my husband still uses him but I felt like I needed some female input and now i go to and love Dr LaDonna Richardson...she is at Brookwood but well worth the drive.
Martha A. replied:
Yeah...Larry Lee.
Vickie C. replied:
Cynthia Walters at Shelby!!
Robert S. replied:
Also: Dr Remillard in Helena is my personal dr and he has been very helpful, is knowledgable and has been good to me-he also takes time & interest in his patients.
Any recommendations on a local INTERNAL MEDICINE Dr that can handle a very complex medical issues patient? Must be proactive with a great support staff.
Robert W. replied:
Stay away from Cahaba Family in Pelham!
Phillip K. replied:
Dr Michael Hann, St Vincent's, been my doc for over 10 years . Best there is!!!
Andrea H. replied:
Dr Lawrence Lee in Pelham. Cababa Family is a group of family doctors, not internal medicine doctors. My husband goes to them and they are great but since I have a medical condition, I go to an internist. Dr. Lee got my BP down in two weeks.
Susan B. replied:
We do use Dr. Snyder at Cahaba family medicine…but sometimes you need a specialist. There're great for "routine" things...
Terry S. replied:
Dr. Cynthia Walters....Internist...Alabaster.
Rene P. replied:
I have seen Dr. Walter's mentioned a few time now. She is my Dr. as well. My opinion on her in a nut shell. If you are looking for a technician of a Dr. that will get to the bottom of things and diagnose you correctly that is her. If you are looking for an outgoing will talk to you about life and the family that is NOT her. She is very much like me and an introvert but boy she is good and knows her stuff.
Jamie O. replied:
Dr. Lawrence (Larry) Lee.
Linda H. replied:
Dr. Kent Kanatani in the bldg across from the Krystal. He has not hesitated to send us to specialists in the past. I don't know if he is taking new patients, but we have had some complicated issues and he has been patient and listens when you need to have further explanations.
Laurie F. replied:
Dr. Maria Bennett. Baptist Health System. Hoover.
Angela O. replied:
I vote Dr. Walters in Alabaster. As mentioned before, she does seem a little introverted (I can't say anything as I am as well), but she is really great. She spent over an hour with me (mostly in my room and not in and out) and got to the bottom of my problems. She really seems to know what she is doing. My grandmother and grandfather also use her. She wrote almost everything down that I said. She even paid attention to the smallest of issue I had. The lady at the front desk is super friendly too! She has always been happy when I have called or been in the waiting room. The nurse is fairly friendly as well. Overall, I would give this place five stars of all the doctors I have even been to.
Holly J. replied:
I use Dr. Cynthia Walters. Her office is in the physician building at Shelby.
Ashley F. replied:
Dr Alred . She wasn't taking new pts a while back, but she may be now . She's very thorough and actually sees her own pts in the hospital (which is unheard of these days).
Ok FB I am looking for a really good Internal medicine Dr.(not a General practitioner) in Calera or Alabaster for my mom. She's fine just wanting to change.
Twyla C. replied:
There's a doctor in with Dr. Allred that is good. Call her office. He only comes 2x a week.
Cathi T. replied:
Dr Walters
Sue T. replied:
Dr. Alred. NOT Dr Walters
Kristin P. replied:
Dr. Alred. She's great! Regular patients usually get worked in the same day & shes always very thorough. The only thing I dislike is if you need to be admitted you are admitted to Shelby, and I've never had a positive experience with Shelby hospital. Other than that I'd highly recommend her.
Looking for recommendations for General Practitioner or Internal medicine Dr that uses Shelby and that has an easily reachable staff. One that responds to your calls...
