The Original Pancake House on Barbur Blvd makes the best since the 1950 s. Served with lemon juice and powdered suger. Oh, and at my house, I make them lots. You use a whole stick of butter in a 5 egg version that I cook in a paella pan so it rises like a huge flower.

Louis Stark--Gracie's in the Hotel Deluxe (old Mallory Hotel) still has it on their breakfast-brunch menu most of the time. You can call them to check.

Sweet Reds on 1 st St. in Albany. Just over the bridge, right on 1 st, left side of the street. Make sure they're open and serving dinner. Very sweet place with great food, good service and not too expensive. Happy anniversary!
