My Second Home in Cool Springs in great. They have cameras in the kennels so you can check on your dog from your phone.

I second My Second Home. Disclaimer: my best friend works there and I know several others who do as well. However, I've been to the facility and they're all very nice and loving towards your pups.

We use Miss Kitty's Bed and Bath. It's a little pricey, but the dogs love it. They have outside playtime and video cameras. They've never lost anything and wash what we bring when it's time to go home.

Go to rover.com or dogvacay and find a nice house if your dog is a nice one :) I used my Petsmart trainer last time I boarded.

Check out Rover.com. Its like boarding your pet but you essentially hire someone to do it in your own home or the caregivers home. Its a pretty neat system and I have friends who have really enjoyed it. The dogs seem to be more comfortable at a house and you dont have to deal with some of the risks associated with boarding.

I haven't boarded my dogs in a while while but I always felt good about them staying at the Belmont Pet Resort. http://thebelmontpetresort.com/ Same as some of the other responses, there are cameras to see them and they do give special attention to smaller dogs and dogs that might be a bit afraid. There are indoor and outdoor play areas and those have cameras as well. Also, there is an animal hospital attached to the building, so that always made me feel better, "just in case" so to speak.

I used Camp Bow Wow just down the road for years. They have video cameras.

Came here to say Rover.com as well. My wife and I are quite obsessed with our dog and have found this to be the best option when we go out of town. We had gone the boarding route in the past, and just had ok experiences. We like Rover because you can simulate your dog's regular living situation. And many of the Rover sitters have a pup too, so your dog will be able to play. Plus there's a rating system for the sitters. Annd many of them will send you daily photos.

The dog spot is great. I've taken my dog there a number of times over the past year and always been pleased with their service and as a bonus, they wear my dog out with playing.

We've used The Dog Spot since they opened at both the East and West Nashville locations. Chad and Andy spend a lot of time putting together great facilities and the staff has always been very helpful.

My parents have used Pampered Pets for years and love it. They use the Spring Hill one but I think there's one right outside Nashville.

I have used pampered pets in the past and they were ok. This last time we boarded at our vet (VCA in mt Juliet). They have a few pools for the dogs and post pics on Instagram almost every day of the doggy day care as well as sent us photos and texts directly every couple of days. It was cheaper than pampered pets and we felt better because it is our vets office.

My dog is nine pounds and we use Miss Kitty's - they have everything you listed plus special sleeping and play areas just for the small dogs. My friends with big dogs all say Camp Bow Wow is great.

Dentist --Jeff Sisel in Shirlington...in the mirrored building. Outstanding dental hygienists and he is a family dentist who refers to specialists as needed. In other words, he doesn't do root canals, implants, periodontal surgery but leaves this work to those more qualified. Book appt now for future check-up.

We use Arlington Animal Hospital on Columbia Pike. Dr. Fred Jones has been wonderful managing our dog's epilepsy. They board as well. Prices are reasonable and the whole staff is fantastic.

As a multiple dog owner for over 25 years I just switched to the new vets at Shirlington Animal Hospital. Very impressed, love the Saturday and Sunday hours, and Dr. Carr provided excellent treatment and follow up with calls and emails to ensure my pets' treatment was progressing as planned.

Cherrydale Vet is the best in town, no question. Saturday and Sunday appointments.

Ballston Animal Hospital is great too. Alexandria Animal Hospital is very expensive but an option for after hour emergencies.

Caring Hands is great. . .although I love Dr. Donna Krochak at alexandria Animal Hospital and they have a full hospital and emergency room. . .I actually also go to Annapolis because Dr. Elizabeth Daher is just a genius with Westies and they do so much Rescue work too. A friend who hopefully will chime in just went to the new vet near Dogtopia in Shirlington and really liked them too. . .lots of good choices here!

I went to the Alexandria Animal Hospital. They have 24 hour emergency care (which you'll hopefully never need). My dog LOVED Dr. Talbot.

Ballston Animal Hospital is great, but I find them very, very pricey so only go there in emergency situations. For yearly shots/check up, we actually go to a place in Manassas (yes, a drive, but significantly cheaper) but have also heard that PetValu have great clinics.

It's a bit further to drive but Belle Haven Animal Medical Center is excellent. My dog has seen almost all the vets there at various times and they're all top notch.

Alicia Lyneé, we take in more strays & owner surrenders than anyone in town. Angi Hopson just left on vacation that she so deserves. AZSDR recently spent thousands on rennovations. We were displaced while repairing which means adoptions were down & we took on another expense & 6 are renting Bethany Animal Hospital's boarding as our quarantine space. Give us a minute to catch up. We can't take dogs that need medical treatment AND aren't altered or vaccinated w/out a donation.

Alicia Lyneé, don't take it so personal. AZSDR is known for taking dogs in DAILY.......with no donation. We currently have a parvo ward that we intake litters & dog's that would die if we didn't take them in FOR FREE. Every puppy at County with parvo is transported if not adopted. We can only do so much. You called with a dog that had medical needs......make a donation. Raise the funds if you have to.

I can recommend Dr Holmes at Windhover Vet in Walpole, MA. Supposedly there's a very good specialist at Ocean State Vet specialist (http://www.osvs.net/). OSVS is normally an emergency vet - so if you make an appointment, be sure to tell them you want a regular exotics vet appointment.
