Leo A. replied:
Also just in case you dont know, somstimes looking online you will see vinyl that says its "180 Grain" or sometimes higher. Those records are made on a much nicer thicker grade vinyl that is build to last. If you just hold one in your hand you will se e what I mean, much more solid feeling than your average old record. Worth paying for if Its something you playing on listening to for a long time. Everything Third Man Records (Jack Whites Record Company/Label) is 180 grain or higher and they are really nice.

For someone who doesn't like clip in pedals I heard that there is another option. Apparently there is a fabric strap you can add to regularish pedals sort of like some...
Kevin M. replied:
I think you're talking about Power Grips. You can buy them as the straps alone to add to your existing pedals (if they are compatible), or you can buy them as the pedal/strap set. Your local bike shop can order them for you if they don't have them in stock. http://www.powergrips.com
Mike S. replied:
I prefer these -- not a "cage," no straps, easy to get in and out. http://www.modernbike.com/dimension-mini-toe-clips-lg-black

Several companies make stuff like this. http://holdfastordie.com/
Mark H. replied:
Yes, I have been using Power Grips for many years. I need more float than clipless offers and should have a little more stability than just a flat pedal (right knee is almost completely gone, when stiff, I must force it around when I first start peddling). They are at an angle so you get grip by foot being straight. They release gradually with any side movement so they do indeed release more reliably and naturally than clipless pedals.
Does anyone know of a good bicycle shop in the Mexico City area or Toluca? I need new spd bike shoes. Currently we are south of Guadalajara in Poncitlan and will be in...

www.chainreactioncycles.com - $16 to ship standard, or $32 for DHL Express. They have great pricing too.
Jeff M. replied:
People for bikes is a cool shop, but I'm not sure they would have the best selection. Transvision Trek has a decent selection MTB shoes. San Luis PotosiNo.196,Loc A.Colonia Roma Nte. How many people are in your group?
Does anyone know someone in town who repairs shoes?
Rita C. replied:
I will drop my boots there tomorrow Martha Scott! Lance got me Uggs clog boots for Christmas that I really wanted. Very comfortable and warm, nice stable heel but already have couple of things that need to be fixed. I just didn't expect that an expensive thing like that will be so "weak"!
Can anyone recommend a place to buy dress shoes? For myself and daughters? We need shoes for the wedding, I already bought a pair from David's bridal but they hurt so...
