Dr. Jennifer Becker at IHA in downtown Plymouth. She has allowed me to choose my own vaccine schedule & has never questioned me or tried to pressure me in any way. (734)455-4600

Dr. Ada Kendall- Providence Park Pediatrics. She tells me what vaccines are due, asks me what vaccines I want, and we spread them out. She respects our decision to vaccinate our children, just not more than 2 shots at a time for each visit. We love her!

Dr. Jennifer Becker in Plymouth.

We go to Dr. Syed and love her. integrated Health Care Associates. Great practice!
Karen G. replied:
Dr. Cheryl Johnstone she is at The Northville Medical Clinic with Dr. Ross Summers. The hours they are open are great!
Julie P. replied:
IHA in Plymouth. We see Dr. Spangler. She let us space out the vaccines.

We use IHA in Plymouth and they are pretty good about spreading out vaxes if that's what you want? www.ihacares.com Welcome - IHACares www.ihacares.com IHA is the leading healthcare group in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area.
Laura K. replied:
Dr Bradley in Livonia, she's so awesome with my little Girl (almost 11 months) and we skipped vaccines, she's never been negative, we love her! Seriously, she's walked us to the pharmacy to be sure we got the exact thing she prescribed, she's called us from home to check on us, she's just great. 6 mile and Newburgh I believe
Amy F. replied:
No to providence park, they fired all patients that choose NOT to vaccinate. We also loved dr Kendall but didn't share the same views. Agreed to disagree. My recommendation is Dr. Park-Davis & Dr. Syed; Novi office and west Bloomfield.
Sharon M. replied:
Dr Ross Summers. He's in the purple building on Northville Road L)
Nicole S. replied:
Ross Summers, is great! He is my doc as well:) They do not do any vaccinations tho! We go to him for everything but vaccines. We go to IHA in Canton and they are very supportive of me doing delayed vaccines!
Erin O. replied:
Integrated Health Care Associates: Dr. Park-Davis & Dr. Syed in Novi and West Bloomfield.
Allyson L. replied:
I second Dr Esha Sayed - west Bloomfied - Farminton and Maple - so nice - we do one shot at a time. She's good at helping us figure out the most important and organizing a good schedule. The nurses are great too. I didn'tike one of them for a long tim...See More

Providence Park Pediatrics in Novi at Beck/Grand River. We see Dr Patenaude and really like her. She's VERY down to earth and is almost ALWAYS on time! I don't think I've ever waited longer than 10 minutes.
Meaghan M. replied:
We LOVE Pediatric Care Corner in W. Bloom., Haggerty and Pont. Trail! ; )
Just a general question. I've been looking forever to find a pediatrician that takes my daughters insurance (total healthcare through medicaid) and I finally found one,...
Kelly D. replied:
My kids used to go to her for years, she is wonderful! But....she does not work many hours anymore and only a few days a week. When she is not there they have Dr Duggal who I personally did not care for. We wound up switching pediatricians
My kids have been going to Dr. Duggal for 8 years. Don't really have a problem with him. Met his wife like once she was nice. I love the staff there. Dr. Duggal doesn't sugar coat anything. All I can say is go and see for yourself.
Laura S. replied:
Loved Rachel!!! But hated her husband, and i went there as a child and took my kids there until i moved!!
Miranda R. replied:
I take my kids to IHA Child Health-Plymouth734)455-4600. It's in downtown Plymouth there's like 8 different doctors there that are all wonderful. I know they take Medicaid just not sure what ones. Dr Sondra and Dr Gitlin I like the most.
Sherry B. replied:
Dr Turkish she is so love able I took my daughter to see her for 18 years a couple of the other doctors on her staff were ok but we loved her
Elizabeth W. replied:
My daughter loves Dr George. Her husband, not so much.
Bonnie T. replied:
Dr George has been there for a long time....Good Rachel George... She was excellent with my sons...My oldest is going to be 33 in Dec.... The youngest son will be 30 in Nov and they both seen her but not the man doctor....Also another pediatrician was Dr Mercader in Westland but he may have retired....
Christina V. replied:
I use to go there but I don't anymore I take my kids to Brentwood pediatrics it's on 7 mile and Farmington I wouldn't go anywhere else they are really good with kids
Jessica B. replied:
Dr George was my children's doc but more often than not my girls had to see Dr Duggal also and more importantly than me not liking him my girls didn't they had a good bond with Dr George she is awesome
Erin D. replied:
Dr Christine Brenner at Infinity Primary Care in Livonia or Dr Bernhard (same practice he is amazing with kids) My son sees both of them and I used to world for them! They both work 5 days a week and some Saturday's and always have appts available and take that insurance!

Sarah S. replied:
I'm sorry about your experiences frown emoticon I've had them as well with past doctors. We see Amanda Kaufmann at UofM domino farms. She is a family doc, not a ped. It's also a drive for us but totally worth it, IMO. I do think she has a long wait time for appts. If you are delaying vax or vax free, those numerous well child visits are unnecessary anyway. I did a 2 week with my daughter and nothing until she was a year old. I know there are lots of other great docs in the area so hopefully you will get lots of recommendations on this post
Krystin C. replied:
Blech! I hear your pain!! It is rough waters finding a good physician. We have really liked our family doctor and she seemed open to other immunization ideas: http://www.ihacares.com/.../Physicians/Naomi-Cook-MD-3BD0/ I recommend keeping at it though. Unfortunately its a lot of trial and error.
Sarah B. replied:
Dr Lacey at IHA Canton... I feel she's very open to listening to what you have to say and takes time with us.
Alicia G. replied:
Liberty Pediatrics!

Liberty Pediatrics
Naarah S. replied:
We delay VAX & go to Liberty Pediatrics. We had IHA before (for both peds & family doctors). After continuous billing mishaps, I left and will never go back.
Ashley B. replied:
We have used Dr. Mary Greiner and she is fabulous as previously stated. However, my oldest needed a peds consult and so now we're at Liberty as Dr. G suggested to us and Liberty would only see my daughter if we moved the entire family over. Dr. G is totally natural - loved that I did homebirths, does not vax in office, etc. However, she is now doing cash only visits and you must submit to your own insurance if you want to try and be reimbursed. Liberty has been good, although we've only been for well-visits plus the one consult. We see Tansey mostly - she's a NP and seems to be the most non-vax friendly, natural minded of the bunch.
Lisa L. replied:
we take our 7-month old to Jane Klaes at the Liberty IHA - she is a DO family doctor. we do the regular vaccine schedule but she seemed open minded to doing it differently and generally is open to alternative approaches from what we can tell so far. it's pretty easy to get an appointment. i see amanda kaufmann as my own primary care but if it can be difficult to actually see her without a lot of advance notice. she was good at making room in her schedule for some special visits when i was pregnant but it was a pain involving a lot of back and forth with the receptionists to arrange those appointments. when i needed to schedule a physical required for our insurance she was booked for the next 5 months.
Amanda I. replied:
At IHA in Canton most of the doctors are ok with delayed vaccinating. The male doctor there is the only one we had trouble with. Our current ped at that office was cool and very supportive of all my parenting choices. She would speak up if she felt she needed too. Dr. Lacey is our current pediatrician at that office.
Jessica E. replied:
Lisa I see Dr Klaes personally. Never thought of bringing my son.
Crystal W. replied:
We see Dr Turke at Turke and Thomashow Pediatrics. We selectively vax and are semi-natural when it comes to home remedies. It's a small office but we've never had an issue with getting an appointment.
Juliana G. replied:
We also see Turke and Tomashow. They seem open to selective vacs and I really like how small and intimate they are. We have never had a problem getting an appt. and they do have some Saturday slots if nessecary. They will say your baby is due for sh ots, but you can say, not ready or next time. Dr. Tomashow was the only person who was comforting when my baby was having trouble latching, as he was a few weeks early... She predicted that when he reached 7 lbs or his original due date he would be a champ eater, and she was so right. Made me really comfortable with them from the start.
Kelly P. replied:
Might I suggest switching to a midwife instead of your present dr? I saw Cheryl and Jess at Menon Miller and Midwives and both are compassionate and caring. As for ped, we see Michelle Hicks (CNP) at IHA office in Arbor Park (near st joes). She is FABULOUS. We have delayed a few vac and denied chickenpox with no issue at all. She's also very supportive of BF and BLW.
Hello FB! I need a new pediatrician. Male preferred.
Suggestions?

I think I might have to get Noah re circumcised :| and before I do that I need a new pediatrician! Someone who won't push vaccinating my son. Any body know a good one?
Expert ladies, several questions in one: Up to what age do ring slings work best? I have a small 4-month old and I'm considering the investment if it would at least last...
Sandy B. replied:
Go to thebabywearer.com fsot forum for good prices on used slings. I wear my 2 year old in a sling all the time and have used one since she was 2 weeks old. She asks for it by name. Very very helpful!

Renee S. replied:
I've been driving to AA for 25 years for the best pediatrician team and they are worth it! Dr. Lisa Profera named one of the top 100 docs in the United States. So worth it and always someplace fun to shop or eat while you're there just in case you decide to drive!:-)

Amy K. replied:
Downriver pediatrics… in the Henry Ford building on west and telegraph… .Dr. Dettore is my favorite but they have more there or like the others said Dr. Morsi…. He's not the kids pediatrician but he was the doctor there when Gavin was born and caught that he had a heart murmur and was very good, nice and thorough!
Jessica E. replied:
Dr. Dagnew in Southgate (Oakwood) has been Dylan's pediatrician since he was born! She's wonderful:-)
Mindy D. replied:
We have gone to woodhaven Peds forever! Love the Drs there Dr Due to insurance change we just had to switch & picked Morsi. I'm glad to get positive feedback on here for him:) we have yet had a need to see him. Sarah, before I had Trey I met with a few pediatricians. Went with the one I was most comfortable with.
Savanna S. replied:
Woodhaven pediatrics.. We see NP JODY ( shes awesome) and Dr Pavlik ( shes awesome too!) Im an ER nurse and these practitioners are top notch in my book !

Emily W. replied:
My siblings and I all went to Dr. Boriboon in Southgate (right next to CTK). He is awesome, and so sweet. I've actually taken Kate to see him when she was sick while we were visiting my parents. I know they have a new female Pediatrician also that my nieces go see and they really like her. Also a plus-- they have Saturday hours!:)
Erin M. replied:
We see Dr. Doss in Dearborn. Not technically downriver but worth the drive.
Lisa M. replied:
I like Southgate Child and Adolescent Center by CTK (Boriboon, Yadao, Cossor). That's where we take Mia. Dealing with newborn screening at work, Dr. Morsi is always great (off of King in Trenton). He's really impressed me when I've called his office with patient results!
Jessica G. replied:
Downriver pediatrics, Dr. Dettore. So far we LOVE it there
Kate B. replied:
I'm very happy with our ped, Dr. Fratteralli out of Oakwood Pediatrics.
Rhonda H. replied:
Hi Sarah - If you have insurance where you need referrals for specialists and are considering Boriboon and Yadao in Southgate, do not go there. We left there when Joey was a year old, they do not want to give referrals. Don't want to put all the details on this public forum, but it turned very ugly. If you want more info, PM me -:(
Kelli L. replied:
Dr. Johnson on trenton rd. Southgate or Dr. Boriboon he is out of same office but Bella loves both if them so if we can't get into one we go to the other. They are amazing. I went there and now my daughter does. Also not sure if things have changed since the other person has left but they have sent me with referrals two different times for Bella in last two years for different issues. Hope it helps:-)
Adrianna R. replied:
Dr. Boriboon and Dr. Johnson in Southgate of Trenton Rd at Child and Adolescent Center. I love them!!!!!
Andrea C. replied:
Dr. Morsi is wonderful we love him!
Meghan B. replied:
Austin goes to woodhaven pediatrics. His pediatrician is Dr. Bass and I like her a lot. I would not recommend Dr. Nyacks office. Every time I made an appointment with him they would give me another random doctor. That's when I switched and I've been very happy
Can anyone recommend a pediatrician they LOVE near Novi? Ours is just okay . . .
Debbie J. replied:
I heard Dr. Dembs is awesome.
Christine C. replied:

I have a one year old son too (Tejus) and we LOVE Liberty Pediatrics. They accept the U of M insurance that my son is on. Also, Tejus went to the JCC of Greater Ann Arbor for part time daycare and we had a good experience there but are going to try Annie's Children's Center this year because they group kids ages closer together and it is closer to where we live and work. feel free to contact me with any other questions and I look forward to seeing you soon!
