What a small world it is. I grew up 30 years ago going to Dr. Manning, and since then both my parents and ex- in-laws have gone to him or the Anagnostis brothers. the doctor I've had the last 15 years is young and I prefer that because they're up to date on the most recent studies and medicines I feel. But I will certainly give these guys another thought. Thanks!

Dr. Bryna MacConarty, Mt Auburn Associates on Mill St, in Arlington. Amazing doctor, always has time to answer your questions, and is very amenable to sending you to a specialist if need be. She is patient, knowledgeable, and close by! We looked FOREVER for a doctor, and are really picky, having also been entirely disgusted with Arlington Family Practice and also Harvard Vanguard, so I can't think of anyone better than this amazing lady. Oh, and she's also associated with Mt. Auburn hospital, so it makes transfers and appointments a breeze. Good luck!
I am looking for a doctor who is part of Harvard Pilgrim and is accepting new patients. Drs. Gunther and Redmond fit the bill at the Family Practice Group. Any feedback...

I just booked a first apt with Dr. Redmond (I prefer a female PCP) based on some positive reviews I got when I asked about a local PCP on the parenting list a couple of weeks back. Haven't been in to her yet but hope to have more good reviews for her soon!
Beth K. replied:
My deadline was 5 pm today, so I tossed a coin and went with Dr. Gunther. Thanks for the feedback, everyone.

Anyone has experience with dr. Grechen Dietrich at Lahey Arlington? My parents family doctor is leaving practice, they need a new doctor. Thanks!
Emily B. replied:
I have! Dr. Liberman is my doctor, but he is retiring so I thought I’d give her a try. I have a couple sinus infections a year so I made an appointment with her a few weeks ago to get antibiotics. She is really nice, BUT she told me that it was just a cold and that it could last up to 6 weeks. Mind you I was already sick for a week and a half. Ummm, okay. I know what a sinus infection feels like and what the symptoms are, but I took her word for it. Then over a week later I was still really sick so I called my current doctor, Dr. Liberman, who prescribed me the much needed antibiotics! And I finally got better. I may try another doctor from the practice after that experience.
Do anybody know of a good family doctor that's reasonable in the Arlington and grand prairie area need my blood pressure checked regularly. #waytoohigh
