We had a good experience w/Jeeves Handyman Services. Frequently, there's a coupon in the Valpak (blue envelope). They were easy to schedule, but not inexpensive since there's a two hour minimum. (I think?) My husband ended up asking advice on various household issues and we appreciated the insight.
